Oh Calamity!

The next day at school I was going through the day happily, until I saw Laura, I sighed as she smirked walking over she had thought of something cleaver to say, she looked happy so I guessed it was good, it didn’t happen that often,
“What do you want?” I said, I couldn’t be bothered with her little games
“Oh just read Alex’s tweet, about you and Tay” she laughed
“Whatever” I said walking away, Alex had blocked the internet on my phone, and I couldn’t check at home, I spent the rest of the day slightly distracted, at the end of the day my teacher asked to speak to me,
“Yes miss?” I said trying to look like I didn’t know exactly why she had brought me up
“I want to talk to you, you were very distracted all day, you have been a few times lately, is there something I should know about?” she smiled, she looked worried, but I wasn’t going to tell on Laura, that would make things worse,
“No” I said trying to look confused
“I know something is going on, and I’m going to be watching, but if anyone is bothering you please come tell me, I hate to see peoples grades suffer because of others”
“ok thanks” I smiled and left, I knew I should tell her but then it would just cause more problems, Alex probably would anyway, I walked home trying to make up for being a little late,
“Your late” Alex frowned, I was always in at the same time,
“We got held back” I lied, he looked suspicious already,
“Why?”
“Some people messing on in class” I shrugged
“Really?” I nodded, and got my homework out, I went to my room trying to do my homework, I didn’t bother trying the computer I knew he would have locked it, and didn’t want to try lying to check it, I got my art out enough to look like I was busy, I might get away with it if Jack doesn’t come over, Alex normally leaves me alone, I quickly drew the outlines, I worked on it a little trying to make it look like I had worked on it longer than I had, it looked bad but they might not notice, I heard Jack come in so I quickly grabbed my phone, I wouldn’t get rid of him once he was here and then I would be screwed, and I didn’t want to ask them, I had lied to Alex now I didn’t want to admit it, I grabbed my phone and tried to turn the wireless on that Alex had turned off, it asked for the password, I knew was it was meant to be so typed it in, I didn’t work, I couldn’t look it up because my computer was locked
Jack walked in and shut the door
“Ash!” he laughed, I froze I thought I would hide it better, but he came up quicker than usual
“I knew you would do this” he laughed
“My internets broken anyway”
“No Alex outsmarted you he changed the password” he laughed, I sighed disappointed
“Please don’t tell him”
“Only if you tell me what’s up” he said sitting on my bed.
“What did Alex tweet about me?” I asked
“Nothing” Jack said confused “why what did Laura say he did?” he asked
“Not much just it was about me and Tay or something” I said it really bothered me
“He didn’t look” he said opening Alex’s twitter up, I read what he put,
“Tay is coming on tour with you guys?” I asked
“Oh yeah, we were going to tell you that today, means you will share with me probably”
“Maybe she was saying I would have to tour with her or something” I shrugged
“Go talk to him, he needs to know she is bothering you again, what is it?” he said guessing something was up
“nothing” I said quickly, he didn’t say anything he waited for me to tell him “fine she got to me and I was distracted thinking about it and got asked to talk in my last lesson, I was late getting back and told him it wasn’t to do with me, he will be mad I lied”,
“Why did they ask you to talk?”
“I was distracted and she said it wasn’t the first time, she wanted to know what was wrong, I said nothing but she doesn’t believe me”
“Because you are a terrible liar, but she will understand and Alex needs to know” I knew he was right, I gave up and stood up
“If you offer the information it’s a lot better, do you want to go down alone?”
“No you can come” I smiled, I wanted him there if Alex got mad he would help. I walked down nervous he would be mad with me again, I was meant to be being good and I was already in trouble with school.
