Oh Calamity!

Jack pov
I sat in Rians house when my phone rang,
“Hey Jack, can you email ash some good quality versions of album covers, she is finding rubbish ones, we must have them emailed to us at some point”
“There must be good ones on the internet” I laughed at her inability to find anything on us, it was weird,
“I know just send her some please, I’m sitting with Tay she is doing art for school off rubbish versions, send her what you can? Or find some good ones for her? She doesn’t know what she’s looking for really” I laughed
“Has she not been down at all?” I asked worried, I knew she would do this
“No” I said not wanting to let her know we were talking about her
“Have you tried to get her to come down?”
“What do you think?” he asked, I could tell he was in her room he was being careful what he said.
“Ok I will email her and call her in a bit to find out what’s going on ok?”
“Ok thanks bye”
I sent our management an email asking for a load of pictures and whatever they had really, and sent ash what I could find in my emails, plus a few I found online. Then called her, she ignored my first call so I kept ringing
“What?!” she said sounding annoyed
“You were ignoring me”
“I was busy, aren’t you meant to be too?”
“Did you get my email?” I ignored her
“Yes thank you” she said sounding a little more normal
“Its ok, so you still working then?”
“Yes, I said I was busy, you are on speaker”
“Oh right, so why you working?”
“I have stuff to do,I am going to be doing my final design for my project soon I need to work out exactly what I am doing, design it” she explained
“Well I asked our management for everything they can give me, I will forward it to you as soon as I get it that should help right?”
“Yes thank you” she said sounding grateful, and less agitated,
“Why don’t you go down to see Alex?”
“I’m busy”
“But aren’t you just working on similar stuff to what you already did?”
“I’m practicing, I’m going to start a new one in a sec, and you gave me new artwork I need to try it out” she said sounding distracted
“Ash!”
“What?” she sounded annoyed again,
“Why are you hiding in your room?”
“I’m busy!”
“I think you don’t know what to do if you go down and that makes you feel uncomfortable so your hiding” I said making her go quiet again, “I think you know I’m right, now Alex isn’t going to know what to do either, you will both have to work this out, go down, if it’s really uncomfortable text me I am not doing much I can come back home, or you can come over here and hang out we could all pose for you” I laughed, I was with rian and some guys from other local bands just haning out,
“Ok no, calm down, you have given me plenty to work with, I will finish this and go down for a while at least”
“Ok, I will be checking”
“I guessed” she said sounding more herself, “Tell Alex I will be down in a little”
“ooh I got a reply, they send me better quality copies of all the album covers, they are going to collect what I asked for and send it later tonight or tomorrow. Show me what you do with it ok?”
“Ok, I will talk to you later” she said and hung up
Ash pov
I finished my work, Jack sent me what he had, they were much better, I zoomed in then printed out big versions of them all, and scribbled ideas on them, then scribbled ideas on blank its of paper,
“Hey ash Jack told me to come check on you if you didn’t come down” Alex said, I was too distracted working on ideas
“God what are you doing?” he laughed, I had paper everywhere
“Busy, got ideas for project” I said not really paying attention to him,
“Oh Jack got stuff emailed good” Alex smiled, I looked up he had sent more, I printed them out,
“So what are you planning?” Alex said not being able to work out from the million bits of paper on the floor, I tried to explain everything but that just made him more confused
“what?” alex said looking at me confused looking through what I had designed
“Don’t look at those!” I complained they were in pencil and rubbish
“I like them” he smiled
“go down to Tay I will come in a minute I need to organise, I will work it out tomorrow once I have time to think” I smiled, he nodded and went down, I organised myself and went to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror, I had paint on my face and pencil smudges everywhere, I washed my face and brushed my hair, then stopped and tried some of my makeup and changed into the skinny jeans Tay picked out and one of my new tops, I walked down and sat on a chair on my own, Alex and Tay had been cuddled up, I think kissing but Alex pulled away a little looking awkward
“Oh man I wanted you to come down like you were” Alex laughed
“Yeah thanks for warning me”
“She looks nice” Tay smiled
“Thanks Tay”
“But she was covered in paint and pencil, do you touch your face a lot when you draw?” Alex laughed
“Shut up!” I complained
“She looks nice tell her she looks nice!” Tay insisted
“She looks the same just wearing less art” he laughed
“And make up and new clothes, god boys, ignore him you look good”
“Thanks, don’t worry I’m used to Jack and Alex now” I smiled, they didn’t get some things
“Hey!” Alex complained
“Sorry but its true” Tay complained
“I’m hungry” I complained
“He’s not cooking anything” Tay laughed
“Actually I do!” Alex said proud of himself
“Take away isn’t cooking” she laughed
“Hey I cook for her, does she look like she lives off takeaways, anyway her mum would have killed me if I did that, no I can cook”
“How often does he make you ill?” she laughed
“He’s not bad”
“Not bad?”
“Sorry Uncle Alex! He’s the best cook in the world!” I said sarcastically making Tay burst out laughing
“A little less sarcasm?” Alex said, I stopped since I wanted food soon and didn’t want to annoy him too much, or he wouldn’t do what I asked,
“He’s good, he makes really good pasta, actually I want pasta make me some pasta?” I laughed,
“Hmm no”
“Alex!” Tay laughed
“What she was being mean too, she knows she will get it, she always gets what she wants”
“Good, so she should”
“I don’t like this tag team you 2 have got right now”
“Go make pasta” I laughed
“Excuse me?” Alex said, I had went a little too far
“Please make pasta?” I asked sweetly
“Better, go get your work show to show Tay, you staying?” Alex asked, I could see the hope in his eyes
“Ok” she smiled
“Want me to come up?”
“Erm ok, but I have paper all over right now”
“Don’t worry I don’t mind” she smiled, I took her to my room,
“Ok we do need to decorate this a little, and wow it’s worse than us when we write but it’s good”
“My actual work is over here” I said, she followed my steps to not mess up my piles,
“Wow this is good, Alex should put some of this up” she smiled
“These are just tests really, I’m going to do bigger ones, that’s what all the ideas are for, she looked at what I had scribbled,
“Oh I think I get it”
“yeah I’m going to base each bit on an album, as many as I have time for, but using different stuff, like this will look best in paint I think, that maybe clay if I can, this maybe pencil, that will be fairly quick, and close to what I have scribbled, I want to try and stich that one but it will take the longest, and I don’t know how big I can do it”
“Wow that sounds cool, take pictures of them at least”
“I have at least a few weeks, certain ones I will bring home to work on as long as they are smaller ones”
“Well I want updates” she smiled, I nodded
“So you don’t mind me being here?” she asked suddenly
“No, I really did just want to work, I was doing this” I said holding up my painting,
“Oh cool, Jack and Alex don’t think that’s the only reason, and they seem to know you pretty well”
“well I wasn’t sure what to do, and I did want to work, but I will spend more time with you guys” I smiled, “in fact I will be down in a sec I’ve got a good idea, I said grabbing the bag of art stuff I picked up, I printed the most basic album cover onto some fabric I had picked up and grabbed my sowing stuff, I sat down on my own and got comfortable,
“Cool” Tay said looking at what I was doing, it was a rough idea so I spent some time, then Alex came in
“What you doing” Alex asked walking in
“Go look” Tay smiled
“How did you do that?”
“I bought stuff that I could print on, so I can sow over in colour”
“Oh right” Alex said watching me,
“Stop watching it’s weird” I complained Alex walked off. It took him a while to cook the pasta so I sat working chatting to Tay, I knew he was listening in but I ignored it, we ate tea then I sat working with them again, I had gotten much more of the design done,
“I like that” Alex said appearing over my shoulder making me jump “I also love when you are caught up in something you concentrate so hard I can sneak up on you so easily, it’s fun”
“No it’s not its annoying”
“Alex leave her alone” Tay said shaking her head, I worked all night I had the main design done I just had to use a colour for the background but that would take some time, I put it down and Alex took it off me,
“Hey” I complained “I worked hard on that!”
“I know Jack wants to know what you did, I can’t explain it”
“I sowed an album cover?”
“That doesn’t make sense to us” he said taking a picture and sending it to Jack
“He said it’s good, he will come look at it tomorrow, hes staying at rians tonight”
“Great!” I said sarcastically making Tay laugh
“Ignore her she loves him really”
“Oh I saw when we were out” I shot her a look
“Sorry but it’s obvious” she smiled, I spent the night talking to them,
“I’m going to bed, night Alex” I smiled and hugged him “night Tay” I smiled and went to bed. I woke up the next morning and went down in my pj’s I sat watching TV, I made some tea and coffee, and got my breakfast, I spent the morning watching TV, Alex walked down in his pjs
“Hey ash”
“Hey sleepy head!” I laughed
“Shh” he laughed, then I heard something behind him
“Oh hey Tay” I smiled feeling awkward, “I made coffee” I smiled
“Thank you!” Alex grinned walking to the kitchen, he came back with 2 cups. They sat all cuddled up, we talked a little then they started talking about music and stuff so I watched TV,
“Earth to ash!” Alex laughed
“Huh?” I said confused
“God you zone out sometimes, Tay is going she was saying bye” Alex laughed
“oh sorry bye” I smiled, “Alex I’m going to do some work” I smiled, and went to my room, I worked on another drawing, I heard Jack come in but was busy, and I knew he would come up soon, he knocked on my door
“Come in” I shouted, and kept working
“hey that’s good” he said looking over my shoulder then looked at the art I had around my room that I hadn’t bothered putting away,
“So Tay stayed over?”
“Yeah” I said not paying too much attention to him
“Was that weird?”
“No” I shrugged,
“Alex said you ganged up on him?”
“Oh yeah that was fun” I grinned
“That worried Alex, I think it’s good, as long as you don’t do it to me” he grinned
“Never” I laughed knowing I would if I could,
“So you like her?”
“Yeah she’s nice, she tells Alex off when he’s being an annoying boy” I wasn’t really talking after that because I was working so he left.

Ok this is a bit rubbish, and kind of a filler, I will try and put another one up soon, but I have a migraine and cant use my laptop too much or do anything else fun without my head killing, but I will do my best
