Oh Calamity!

Jack pov
So ash tried to help Alex and he shouted at her, she has stormed up stairs, I wanted to go talk to her but needed to sort Alex out first, he over reacted big time and judging his face he didn’t even realise it yet.
“hey she was trying to help, you are only mad because you know she is right, stop trying to control what you can’t, she felt weird you were hiding Tay from her, especially when there is gossip from the fans about it already, but she didn’t look her up because you asked her not to, she didn’t really question us about it, she asked me last night because it was bothering her and she didn’t want to upset you! Then you bring her in and ash wasn’t inviting her because they already have this huge bond or whatever, she was trying to help the awkwardness, she was trying to help you, and because of your insecurities you nearly had a heart attack and shouted at her for helping. So calm yourself down, decide if you are going to let them talk or not and stick with it, but you know you can’t stop it forever and there is always a chance you will break up, so what you going to do?” I said annoyed, he was doing everything all wrong when ash and Tay were giving him every chance they had.
“She was being rude and”
“She wasn’t there Alex, you were” Tay added, he looked at her
“Sorry not my place” she held her hands up,
“It is when it included you too, Alex she wasn’t being rude, she was telling you like it is, and you should have accepted that”
“Ok maybe I over reacted”
“Maybe?”
“Ok I did big time, shit she’s not going to come round easy is she” Alex sighed, realising the situation he created,
“Probably not no, and she’s not going to talk to Tay easily again either”
“Fuck” he said under his breath,
“It’s ok, I will try again when you are ready, this was a bit much I guess” she smiled,
“No I am ready I guess she is right I’m scared, this is a big commitment to our relationship, and it happened so fast”
“We can wait and try again” Tay smiled
“No I don’t want to wait, that will just let me be a coward, and I don’t want Ash to think of me like that either, especially when she is right, that’s why I got so annoyed, do you want to come?”
“I think she needs the help, she is right she doesn’t want you 2 decorating her room” Tay laughed
“I will go talk to her” Alex sighed,
“I can if you want?” I suggested
“Ok, she probably won’t talk to me anyway” he said looking guilty, I ran up the stairs and walked into her room,
“Go away” she said lying face down on her bed, I sat on the floor leaning against the bed,
“Ash he is sorry you were pushing some buttons he’s not used to you even knowing about, come down and talk?”
“No”
“Ash he really is sorry, he said you are right, he wants you to come talk to all of us”
“No he just doesn’t want me in his life”
“Ash that’s not true, you know that, he loves you more than anything else”
“Not her”
“Ash stop it, you know that’s not true, you just hit the nail on the head with him being scared, bringing you into the relationship is a huge commitment and that scared him, he wasn’t planning on today it just happened, and then you acted so cool and so grown up, he didn’t expect it and he wasn’t ready”
“He still shouted”
“And he shouldn’t have, give him a chance to apologise?”
“Fine” she sighed, she followed me down, and sat next to me on the chair away from Alex, and looked to the floor
“Ash don’t look at me like that, I’m sorry ok? I shouldn’t have shouted, you were right, and I was being immature” she still didn’t look at him properly, Tay looked confused, but didn’t say anything, Alex got up and sat next to ash,
“Ash listen I’m sorry, please don’t be in a huff with me” he begged,
“I’m not” she lied still refusing to look at him
“ash look at me please” he said gently, Tay was still looking confused, ash looked up, but she still didn’t look happy, Alex managed to keep eye contact
“Look ash I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have shouted, not for that, you were a little rude to me but I needed it, you still want to go shopping?”
“Fine” she said quietly,
“Tay you want to come with us?” Alex smiled
“If it’s still ok with ash?”
“Yeah” she smiled, she felt weird now, Alex had made such a big deal out of it,
“Jack you coming?” they asked me, I was tempted to say no, leave them to it, ash might hide behind me a little, but I was worried Alex would say something stupid again, and ash looked like she wanted me to, I nodded
“I will drive” Alex smiled
“Shotgun” I shouted with a grin, Alex looked at me annoyed, that left Ash and Tay in the back but there wasn’t really a problem with that,
“So what exactly are we buying?” Alex laughed in the car
“I don’t know it was his stupid plan”
“Always a good start when we are going by what Jack says” Alex laughed
“Well we could get her some posters, or some frames for her art work, hey do you need supplies, or I don’t know?” I laughed, I didn’t really have a plan
“Let’s just walk around, I’m sure you guys miss out shops she likes” Tay smiled,
“ooh lets go in here” Tay said running in, I forgot how annoying she was shopping, but ash smiled and went in after her, they were looking at makeup, me and Alex stood back, they were putting loads of stuff in a basket,
“This looks so bad” Alex said, I laughed “I like her without make up, can we not keep her like this” he complained
“probably not, most girls her age like it, maybe she does need a girls help” Alex looked sad “I thought I would be able to look after her myself, I didn’t want help from a girl, I didn’t want her to think anyone would take over her mum” he said looking upset
“She won’t, Tay will be carful and ash will speak up” I assured him, but I understood how he felt,
“Uncle Alex can I get this?” ash said sweetly, making Tay laugh
“Does she really need make up?” Alex asked Tay looking lost
“Yes” she laughed,
“Ok fine” he said giving in, we paid for it, and after a few shops ash was running in places with Tay, until they ran into a shop and Tay took ash to the bras
“Ok we are waiting outside, ash here is my card, and I’m erm out here” Alex said awkwardly.
Ash pov
Alex handed me his card not making much sense, I laughed
“Ok I’m guessing the guys haven’t bought you anything in here, especially from Alex’s reaction” she laughed at how awkward the looked standing outside
“Erm no” I laughed thinking how awkward it would be if they did,
“I think you need some new ones, we will get you a fitting then choose some ok?” I nodded and followed her unsure what to say, I got my fitting then we looked around,
“Ok you have a few everyday ones, now we need a nice one”
“I don’t think Uncle Alex will like that”
“Probably not but you need at least one nice one to make you feel good, and I will tell him off if he says anything” she smiled
“I like the idea of him being told off for once”
“Don’t blame him for today, he wasn’t ready for it, he was putting too much on us meeting, he has calmed down now hasn’t he?”
“Yeah but he still doesn’t look sure”
“that’s because he doesn’t want to admit your growing up and need this stuff, he wants you to be a kid forever, but that isn’t possible, he will come round” she smiled, I nodded we bought the stuff,
“Ok no more shops that make us awkward”
“Hey I’m fine with bras” Jack laughed
“When they are for ash?” Alex asked, Jack stopped smiling
“That’s what I meant enough of the girly stuff, let’s go in the music shop”
“You guys really need to?” Tay said shaking her head
“Well we said maybe some posters”
“What’s wrong with the music shop?”
“They spent their whole childhood in there, and still go in as much as they can, it’s an obsession”
“Shut up” Alex smiled, putting his arm around her, they walked around together talking,
“Come on” Jack said pulling on my arm, I followed to the posters, we looked at the band ones,
“What about this one?” Jack laughed, he found one of the guys, and I laughed,
“No that’s weird, I laughed ooh fall out boy!” I said Jack grabbed one for me, we grabbed a few, Jack picked one or 2 for himself, Jack took me to pay
“Wait I need Alex” I said, realising I didn’t have enough money
“I will pay stupid” he laughed
“You’re stupid”
“That’s your worst ever come back” he laughed, we found Alex and started wondering around
“Ooh can I go in here?”
“Of course” Alex smiled, I ran in, the guys walked around slowly, I grabbed a load of stuff
“Are you buying the whole shop” Jack laughed, I stopped feeling guilty,
“Jack stop it, its ok ash buy what you want” Alex smiled
“Thanks, I’m just almost out of my own stuff, I only have school stuff” I admitted,
“It’s ok, you should have said sooner I would have bought you some” Alex smiled, I nodded
“Tell me when you want stuff, I’ve told you before” he laughed
“So do you do much art?”
“I take it at school, but I like to do my own stuff too”
“Oh cool, can I see one day?”
“I have a picture I took on my phone” Jack said happily
“That’s really good, you guys could actually use that”
“I know that’s what I thought” Alex smiled
“She has loads more, in her folder for her project”
“I would love to see it sometime” she smiled I nodded. We wondered round then got a Starbucks and went home,
“I’ve got to go meet some friends” jack smiled and left
“I’m going to go do some work” I said going upstairs
“Wait” Alex said I stopped “I thought you said you did it all last night?”
“Fine I’m going to do some art” I corrected
“You sure you don’t want to stay down here?”
“Maybe later” I smiled, I did want to do some stuff now I had supplies plus I wanted some time alone.
