Remembering Tuesday

*2 WEEKS LATER.*

*ALEX’S POV*


We’ve been here for 2 and a half weeks now. There’s always somebody at the hospital, no matter what. Jack refuses to leave. I’m really worried about him. He won’t eat, and he isn’t sleeping well. He’s just been crying a lot. He’s a complete wreck. I keep trying to help him but he won’t let me. He just tell me to fuck off. The most I can get him to do with me is give me a hug. It seems like Vic is taking it pretty hard too. He’s been here almost every day, he looks like he hasn’t been sleeping well either. Harmony is In ruins, I’m trying to help her through it, and most of the time she accepts my help, which is good, but she’s still not well. I just want Kylie to wake up. I miss her so fucking much.

*JACK’S POV*

I miss her. I miss her so fucking much. We’ve been here so fucking long, why won’t she wake up. Why won’t she show us her beautiful eyes. I just want to see them again. Is that too much to ask for? Why is she doing this to me. She knows I need her. She needs to wake up. I can’t do this much longer.

“Jack.” The doctor said, walking out. I’m the only person here right now.

“Yes?”

“You can see her. She’s waking up.” He smiled.

“WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS.”

“Yes. Haha, go ahead.”

“Kylie.” I look at her fragile body, it looks I could break her just with a single touch.

*She opens her eyes and I start crying.*

“Hello beautiful. I’ve missed you, everyone has.”

“Jack. Huh, where-where am I?” She tries to get up.

“Hey, don’t do that, you need to stay in bed”, I gently pull her back, “You got in a car accident sweetie, a drunk driver hit you, you’ve been in a coma for 2 and a half weeks now.”

“Well fucking shit.” She laughs.

“Why are you laughing Kylie, this is serious.”

“I don’t know, it’s just like me to have stupid shit like this going on.” She starts cracking up.

“You’re absolutely insane. I love.. it.” I smile.

“Where is everyone?” She asks.

“They all went home to get some sleep, I’m gonna go call them right now. You need to try to go get some sleep okay?”

“Alex. Who’s with you?” I ask when he picks up the phone.

“Harmony, Vic, Rian, and Jamie. Why?”

“She’s awake.”

“SERIOUSLY?! WE’’LL BE THERE IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES.

*ALEX’S POV*

“Kylie.” I gasp. They had me go in first, Jack was with her, holding her hand. She looked so weak, so fragile. I can’t believe it.

“Shhh, she fell asleep,” Jack whispered, “I’ll give you some time with her.” He walks out, kissing her hand and whispering something to her.

“Hey babe.” I say, crying and holding her hand.

“Alex?” She asks. Her voice is so soft you can barley hear her.

“Yes Kylie. I’m here” I say looking at her.

“Well Hi, funny to see you here.” She smiles.

“Right? Hello.” I laugh. I’ve missed her so much.

“Alex. Why does Jack look so fucking shitty?”

“We don’t need to talk about that..”

“Yes. We do. I want to know.”

“He’s been here since you got admitted, he refused to go home. He hasn’t slept much and kept refusing to eat. All he’s been doing is crying, and waiting for you to get up.”

“BARAKAT.” She yelled angrily. “Shit” She starts coughing.

“What?” He said, running in.”

“What the fuck man.” She says.

“What did I do?” He says.

“Alex told me you haven’t been eating or sleeping. Why.”

“I haven’t wanted to, I’ve been more worried about you.”

“Fucking fuck.” She says, starting to cry. “I’m so sorry.”

“No, babe, it’s okay. It’s okay. It’s not your fault.” He comes over, lightly hugging her so he doesn’t hurt her.

“Go home, sleep, and eat. A lot, maybe shave too.” She laughs while crying

“Kyl-“

“Go. Jack. I’m serious. You can come back tomorrow”

“Fine..” Jack says, walking out.

“Knock, knock.” Harmony says quietly, walking in.

“HARMY.” Kylie yells, trying to get up

“Hey stop that baby, you need to relax.” She hugs her.

“Harmy, what are you doing here?” Kylie asked.

“Alex called me.” She smiled.

“Thank you.” She says looking at me, “ I miss you angel.” Kylie says to Harmony.

“I miss you too baby.” Harmony says back to Kylie.


Everything’s gonna get better now.
