Kiss and Sell

Feel Better Now

"Alex!" Jack exclaimed as he ran to the boy lying in the grass. Alex sat up -wearing a confused expression on his face as his boyfriend stopped in front of him -worriedly staring down at Alex who asked, "What are you doing here?"

"You're okay?" Jack asked -reaching down to help Alex up into a stand while Cassadee walked up behind the both of them and asked, "You didn't get into a fight with your dad or anything?" Her eyes trailed up the boy -examining his body to make sure he was completely fine.

"No." Alex said before glancing at the police car that was now backing up, "He got arrested." He admitted. Honestly, Alex didn't know how to feel about the situation. He was a little sad to know his father had been arrested because honestly the man wasn't all bad. Sometimes they could sit down, like they had just a few moments ago, and just chat and laugh and have a good time, and then there was other times where Peter would threaten Alex, torture him, taunt him. Alex wasn't sure if he felt relieved or upset about his father leaving.

"Good. It was about time that prick went to jail!" Jack exclaimed -obviously pleased with Peter finally being out of their lives. At least he and Alex wouldn't have to worry about getting their asses beat just for being friends or anything more. Alex wasn't so sure he felt the same. He glanced at Cass who could obviously see he wasn't so happy. She was biting her lip nervously as she reached forward to gently stroke his arm. Jack didn't seem to notice as he continued with, "Maybe you'll finally get some peace around here."

"Yeah." Alex breathed -averting his eyes to the ground as he toed at the clumps of grass.

"Are you okay, Lex?" Cass asked quietly. She wasn't really convinced by the small nod Alex gave her so she gave Jack a quick nudge.

Jack glanced between the two before he sighed and said, "I mean... Sorry about your dad being arrested and everything, but... uh... its for the better." He shrugged -reaching forward to ruffle Alex's hair. He was the best at comforting Alex, obviously. Alex reached up and pushed Jack's hand away from his head as he muttered, "Yeah... Let's just go."

Jack nodded as he grabbed Alex's arm and pulled him to Cass' car. Cass gave Alex a concerned look as they all entered the car and asked, "Alex, are you sure you want to go? Because you don't have to."

"I'm fine. I want to go." Alex said as he turned to look out the window, "Let's just go, Cass. I want to get drunk." He chuckled -finally finding it in himself to be a little happy about his father going to prison. He'd get help. It wasn't like he was going to be there forever. He sat up and reached forward to turn on the radio. He didn't really pay attention to what he turned on -just wanting something to drown out the silence -and glanced over to see Jack staring at him.

"What?" He asked as he sat back in his seat -watching Jack turn completely to look at him. He cocked an eyebrow, "Stop staring at me, you big weirdo."

Jack turned back to the front, rolling his eyes fondly as he said, "I think I have a right to stare at you as much as I want."

"Just because I had to ask you out doesn't mean you get to do whatever you want." Alex rolled his eyes, "In fact, I think it's the other way around." He reached forward and wrapped his arms around Jack's neck from behind while leaning over the seat to kiss his forehead making Jack blush as he muttered, "Whatever, just get off me."

Alex pressed a few more kisses to Jack's cheeks while giggling, "I don't have to!" Jack rolled his eyes and pushed Alex back only to have him ruffle his hair and say, "Boyfriend gets what he wants, bitch."

"You guys are literally the most adorable couple I've ever seen." Cass gushed -watching the two interact almost more than the road which was totally unsafe and she was going to have to somehow stop the two from being so adorable or they'd crash.

Alex huffed from his place in the backseat, "Why am I even back here all alone? I feel so excluded." He whined.

"You're a foot away from us, Alex." Cass laughed -looking at him through the rear-view mirror. Alex smirked at her as he moved forward and climbed over the center console. Cass looked over to see his butt in her face making her yelp and scream, "Alex! You're gonna get me pulled over!"

"What are you doing?!" Jack cried as Alex's hands ended up in his lap while he tried to push himself the rest of the way into the seat with him.

"Oh shit." Alex said, "Sorry." He laughed -looking up at Jack innocently as he pushed completely into his lap. He ended up facing Jack, but awkwardly so, and his back against the dash of Cass' car. He groaned as he tried to turn in Jack's lap but the boy grabbed him and growled, "Just sit still. God, Alex."

Alex smirked, "Don't act like you don't love me in your lap." He chuckled as Jack blushed and muttered, "Whatever."

"Hm." Alex said as he turned to look at Cass, "Will you hurry up? I am so uncomfortable."

"Alex!" Cass laughed, "You're so stupid! Go sit in the back!"

"Never!" Alex cried as he reached forward and wrapped his arms around Jack's neck. Jack groaned and tried to push him back but Alex held on tightly as he feigned sobbing, "Don't make me go back there!"

Cass rolled her eyes while Jack struggled to push Alex off him as he exclaimed, "Let go of me, asshole! You're gonna break my neck! Hey! Stop!" He gradually got louder as he felt Alex squirm in his lap -trying to pull his legs back to make himself more comfortable. Jack pushed Alex enough to make him fall back against the dash. Alex glared as he moved his feet up to rest over Jack's shoulders and scooted back until his head was in between Jack's legs and his ass was in Jack's face.

"What is wrong with you?!" Jack cried as he pushed him down. Alex sat up and grabbed the back of his neck to pull him into a kiss suddenly. Jack made a sound of surprise as he kissed back -his eyebrows furrowing as he gently moved Alex to be sitting normal in his lap -facing the window for once. Alex pulled back and laughed as he pressed his back against Jack's chest and hummed, "Much better."

Jack rolled his eyes, "All of that for a fifteen minute drive. We're almost there, stupid."

"Actually all of that for a nice kiss." Alex glanced back and winked. Jack blushed as Cass pulled into a parking spot. Alex sat up and grinned as he said, "Let's go party."

Alex fell out of the car as Jack opened the door but quickly jumped back up and ran off without the others. Jack could say he felt a little disappointed to see his boyfriend run away and leave him behind. He assumed it was just how Alex was, though. He wasn't going to take it personally for now. Cass grabbed his arm to drag him to Rian's yard before she let go and abandoned him for her own boyfriend. That's when Jack felt a little bit alone through this entire thing.

Jack sighed as he decided to stand in the corner like every other socially awkward single person. The only sad thing about it was Jack wasn't single.

As the night progressed Alex got pretty drunk. He had all together pretty much forgot he was supposed to find Jack like how he told himself he was going to when he found himself alone after his first drink. The only thing he was worried about at the moment was the "dance floor" and all the people he could be grinding against at the moment. After all, Alex was a pretty horny drunk.

Practically touching everyone he could, inappropriately or not Alex didn't care, he made his way through the crowd to a girl who had caught his eyes only to find it was Cass. He sighed as he pushed his way to her and grabbed her arms to raise in the air and flail around which had her laughing as she tried to push him away. In the distance Alex noticed Jack watching them have fun alone. She wrapped her arms around Alex's neck and pulled his head down to rest on her shoulder -taking one hand in hers to hold up as they slow danced awkwardly to the hardcore pop music playing. Alex giggled as he spun them around making Cass laugh as she pulled back and slurred, "Alex, you're drunk."

Alex winked at her as he countered, "And you're drunker!"

"I don't know about that." Cass giggled before feeling her boyfriend slip his arms around her waist while pushing Alex back slightly. Alex pouted before he glanced up at Jack and waved at him. Jack waved back awkwardly -giving him a forced smile while Rian joked, "Why don't you go dance with your own girlfriend? He hasn't left the corner all night."

"Aw." Alex cooed as he watched Jack step away from a few drunkards stumbling towards a bedroom together. He was closest to the hall -obviously somewhat in the way somehow. Well, in the way from the kitchen to the bedrooms Alex assumed, "He doesn't know how to have fun." He pouted.

Rian laughed as he tugged on Cass' waist -obviously ready to drag her off to a bedroom for some totally innocent none sexual activities, "Why don't you teach him then?"

Alex frowned as he watched Rian and Cass giggle and pull each other away. He knew Jack would totally put a damper on his mood, but he also knew he was going to do that anyways because he'd stand in the corner and pout towards Alex all night. The boy sighed and, without anything but a quick sip of a drink, made his way across the living room to the teenager standing alone in the corner. There was a lot of pushing and then a sudden body slamming into his chest. His entire front was covered in liquor making him gasp and look down. He could see Jack watching again as he stared at his drenched shirt and pants while the girl who bumped into him hastily began rubbing her hands over Alex's chest, like it would help.

"Whoa, sorry!" She exclaimed as she turned to look for a towel, "Um, sorry." She bit her lip. She didn't look too drunk. Something about her was familiar. Alex tilted his head at her as he mumbled, "S'no problemo."

The girl rubbed her chin, "Hey, it's been a while, Lex." She grinned at him. Alex tried to rack his brain for who this girl was but he couldn't seem to remember correctly. He smiled -thinking she only knew him for his rep and quickly said, "Sure, yeah. I gotta go, though. So I'll, uh, later, bye!" He rushed.

"Whoa, whoa." She stopped him -grabbing his arm, "What's the rush, dude? We haven't talked in forever, c'mon." She smiled at him. A flirty smile. Alex tried to smile back but it was more of a grimace as he politely said, "I really gotta go."

"Heard you were dating the bad boy. Hm... Barakat, right?" She asked.

"Sure, whatever." Alex shrugged, "Listen, I gotta run. I'm serious."

"Okay, okay, fine by me. Maybe... Maybe we'll catch up some time, yeah? I'd really like to, y'know, talk and everything." She reached forward and traced his knuckles while Alex forced a smile and nodded quickly. He looked up and saw Jack gone from his spot in the corner making him sigh.

"Uh, are, are you... here alone?" She asked quietly -biting her lip as she looked up at him innocently. Alex sighed as he tried to find Jack among the crowd. He wasn't sure where he disappeared to.

"Um, actually..." Alex trailed off as he glanced around before sighing and mumbling, "Yeah."
