Nothing Personal.

Alex sat up, his back stiff from the cold grimy concrete floor. Alex quickly got to his feet, noticing the throbbing pain in his temple as he did so. His whole body ached.
"Hello?" Alex called out. His voice raspy.
"Hello Alex." Alex heard the thick British accent. Alex turned around and saw green eyes starring back.
"You!" Was all Alex could say.

Jack sighed as he plopped down next to Alex's empty seat. Alex was the talk of the whole school. His name seemed to be coming out of everyone's mouth. Even the teachers couldn't seem to stop talking about it. Missing posters of Alex were strewn all down the halls, and all throughout the town. It's been five days. Five days since Jack last saw Alex. The anticipation was killing him. All that Jack could seem to think about was whether Alex was in pain or not.
"Mr. Barakat." The teacher called out. Jack looked up her. "You are needed down at the office." Jack nodded and collected his things.
He knocked on the principals door. A police officer opened it a second later.
"So, Mr. Jack Barakat." The police officer said as they entered the office. "We are told that you were one of Alex's best friends." Jack looked down at his feet. "We just have to ask a few questions. Sit down please." Jack moved over to the empty chair and plopped down.
"Did Alex ever mention of running away?" The man asked. Jack looked up for the first time.
"No, he wouldn't do that." Jack said quietly. The police officer grunted.
"You can't be too sure." The man whispered to himself. Jack rolled his eyes. "Listen Jack." The man said sternly. "If Alex ran away, we need to know. He could get into some-"
"He didn't run away." Jack angrily cut the man off. "Now why don't you guys quit wasting your time asking me stupid questions and go find my friend." Jack stood up quickly and left the office.
Jack didn't feel the need to go back to class so he just left all together. He was walking slowly down the sidewalk. He came face to face to a missing poster of Alex. His smile bright in the photo.
"If the police wont look for you, I will." Jack grumbled to the poster.
Notes
This is chapter 2! Thoughts?
@LongLiveUs - Nobody is really sure about what happened in her mind. I know I wish I was there with her in her last moments. She was very lovely, and very warming. And thank you so much.
@Jagk Skellington - Your comment really means a lot to me<3 I don't really understand fandoms, and such things like this. I really don't understand how you can care so much for a person that you don't even know personally. But I love how it works. No matter how much I may never understand it, I love it so much.
@All Time WTF?! - She was very kindhearted. And I know she probably felt guilty in the moment of her death. She always tried to put other needs before her own, which is why I actually love her so much. If only she could see how many people are actually mourning over her death. (Her father is taking it the hardest) I buy her flowers every weekend so far, and put them on her grave. She was loved. She still is.
And I want to thank everyone, for everything. You guys are so sweet, and thoughtful. No wonder she was always on here. She never really told me about this site until..well you know. But I wish she had sooner. This site is incredible. You all love each other, and it is so beautiful. I thank every single one of you guys thank have supported her stories, and have been there after her passing. Everything means so much. <333
