Summary
Elizabeth Reese just wanted to forget about the past. That's all she ever wanted.
Alex Gaskarth just wanted his best friend back. She's been dwelling on the past and rotting her life away. He wanted her to get better, and the only way he knew how to do that was to somehow distract her and get her mind out of the past. The past was the past and she couldn't change that. And the only way to do that? Get her a boyfriend. Simple enough right? Wrong.
A year ago she lost someone close to her heart and now she can't seem to stop blaming herself. A year ago Jared died. A year ago she got into a fight with Jared. A year ago she kicked him out. A year ago he got drunk out of his mind and went on a joy ride. A year ago he got into a crash and died on impact. A year ago she started blaming herself.
