"Dude, there's something that Bella isn't telling me." Alex frowned as he let off steam to Jack. "It's scaring me a bit because she's saying to wait, but I just wanna know what it is."

"Alex, it's just your anxiety playing up, and you know it. Just calm the fuck down, bro!" Jack said, hitting Alex on the back. "Did she say anything in particular to make it sound bad?" He asked.

"Well.. no." Alex realised.

"Did she have a bad look on her face when she was texting?"

"..no." Alex covered his face with his hands.

"Well there you go then! Quit your worrying!"

"Jack, I swear you're a girl sometimes. You seem to know them so well.."

Jack just laughed and winked at Alex, who shuffled away uncomfortably. "Guys, help, Jack is turning gay again and it's weirding me out.."

"Alex, lighten up, man. Normally you'd play along. What's wrong?" Rian came over, sitting on Alex's knee, as Alex laughed. "Are you not gay anymore now that you have Bella? I'm sure she wouldn't mind.." Rian inched in closer to Alex's face.

"What am I missing out on?! Are you seriously doing this without me?!" Zack ran over, playfully annoyed that they were taking the piss out of Alex without him. He sat down on Alex's other knee and watched as Jack started to tickle Alex.

Alex kicked Rian and Zack off, before thumping Jack on the arm, laughing uncontrollably. "Okay, I get it! I'll cheer the fuck up, just stop it! Agh!"

The boys were returning from their tour tomorrow and Paige and Bella felt like little children on Christmas. They couldn't sleep in, they couldn't rest. In fact, they were running around the house like headless chicken, vacuuming here and there, spraying and polishing the worktops and dancing around with cloths, singing aloud to All Time Low as the music blasted from their stereo.

They laughed as they completed yet another spring clean, Bella starting to feel dizzy and sick. Remembering the situation she was in, she fell onto the sofa and breathed heavily, trying not to throw up the massive breakfast the two of them had eaten that morning. "..well, three of us, technically" she thought to herself, chuckling. "Urrrrgh!" She grumbled loudly as Paige came over and sat down next to her. Paige pulled her in close and stroked her hair.

"Why don't you go back to bed, sweetheart? You're just gonna work yourself up if you keep moving around." Paige cooed as she held Bella tight.

"No! I refuse!" Bella jumped up, regretting it shortly after as she faltered slightly. "We need to clean!"

"Bella, will you look around a minute?"

"I would, but the glare from everything sparkling so bright hurts my eyes.."

Paige burst into laughter as Bella took a bow. "You're such a dick!" Paige blew out through panted breaths.

"How you getting on with therapy anyway?" Bella asked gently as she started polishing the coffee table.

Paige looked at Bella and smiled gently. "I'm getting on alright. What am I on? Week seven now?"

Bella shrugged. "Something like that. You stop counting when it gets better."

Paige took the hint. "Alright, I get it, you sly bitch. I'll keep going. What is even up with you? You look like you're nesting or some shit!" Paige poked Bella in the back as Bella's eyes widened in fright.

"Is it obvious? Is it showing? How does she know? Did she find the test?" Millions of questions ran through Bella's mind, and she felt like she hadn't replied in ages, so she turned around straight after the question and smiled. "First, I need to be pregnant. You're forgetting that small fact." She said as she jokingly rubbed her belly, trying to make it seem smaller than it was.

"I guess that would help. I dunno, you're just glowing. You seem happy."

"I must have accidentally polished my face too then.." Bella laughed, waiting for a reaction from Paige as she placed her face next to one of the kitchen counters. Paige once again burst into hysterics before throwing her cleaning cloth at Bella. "Well that isn't going to take away the shine! Just make it stand out more, puny human!"

Bella stood up and the two of them continued cleaning and dancing around, Bella taking it a bit easier this time. She didn't want to make it obvious, not when Paige seemed to be doing so well on her road to recovery.

Alex and Zack walked up to the main door and unlocked it as quietly as they could. It was very early hours of the morning and they knew that the girls would be asleep. They'd already dropped Jack and Rian off at their houses, after much disagreement. Alex had argued it would take less time to go back to his and stay there the night, but really he just wanted to get home to Bella. And Zack wanted to get home to Paige.

The two boys silently shut the door and relocked it, before creeping on their tiptoes. They looked around at the house. The sun was breaking through the night sky and it was slowly turning to morning. The house glittered and sparkled and the boys stood there in awe.

"Fuck. The girls must have spent ages doing this." Zack whispered.

"My God." Alex stood there in disbelief as he wiped his finger on the kitchen counter.

"I.. er.. think an act of appreciation is in order.." Zack fiddled with his hands.

"I don't need to hear anymore of this." Alex whispered as they climbed up the stairs and found their way to their bedrooms. "It's been a pleasure spending the last month with you but for now, I bid you adieu." Alex bowed his head as they both walked into their bedrooms, shutting the doors behind them.
