The Last Night

Jack's POV
I wake up to still no Alex beside me, he was out last night but I'd thought he'd be home by now.

I call up his phone and on the third ring he picks up.

"Jack?" He asks.

"Alex, why aren't you home?" I start off, preparing for the worst.

"I-I can explain!" My boyfriend says.

"Whatever it is, I promise I won't break up with you." I say sincerly.

"Promise?" Alex says with fear.

"Promise." I repeat, waiting to hear what I assume is bad.

"I hooked up with somebody." He says and I nearly drop the phone.

"How could you?" I yell with anger and fury.

"Jack! Please, I'm sorry! I'll get home as soon as I can. Don't hurt me!" He squeals.

I just sigh but know I have to keep this promise. He's just a confused boy who think all love is when someone takes your innocence.

"Jack?" He whispers.

"Just come home. Forgive and forget. Do you need me to pick you up?" I ask him.

"Could you?" Alex whimpers.

"Yeah, just give me the address."

He gives it to me and I realize that's about twenty minutes if I drive fast.

The things I do for the boy I still can't help but to love.
