~Alex's POV~

I pulled up in the school parking lot with Jack by my side. It felt so much better than walking, and we got to spend more time in bed, which was always a bonus. We both stepped out of the car and were greeted by our friends.

"Hey guys! Nice ride!" Rian shouted as he made his way over to us.

"Is that yours?" Cass asked, giving me a hug. "It's so cute!"

"Yeah, thanks. I got it yesterday. I'm tired of getting cabs and walking anywhere." I said, giving everyone in the group a quick smile to say hello.

"If I didn't have Rian, I would be walking everywhere. I really need to get some lessons, actually." Cass spoke, saying the last part mostly to herself.

"Hey, I could teach you sometime!" I suggested.

"Would you mind? I don't want to wreck your car.." Her face had lit up with a smile, exposing her perfect teeth.

"No, it will be fine! I'll take you to a field or some place where we can't damage it. It will be fun." I smiled back, and Cass jumped into my arms, whispering a "thankyou" over and over again into my ear.

"You better not be trying to steel my girlfriend, Gaskarth." Rian joked.

"Dammit, you busted me!" I laughed with everyone, just as the bell rung, signalling lessons. I took Jack's hand, and we headed into the building.




"Have you thought about doing anything for Valentines Day, Alex?" Jess asked me as we were queuing up for lunch.

"Yes, actually. I'm never normally this prepared for anything, but I've planned ahead on this." I smiled, the idea making my stomach fill with butterflies.

"Are you going to tell us?" Zack asked.

"Well I like to write songs, and I've wrote one for Jack. I hope he likes it, I've spent ages on it!"

"That's adorable! Trust me, he'll love it." Cass squealed. God, she was such a fangirl, she literally squealed every time mine and Jack's relationship was brought up in conversation.

"Aw, you're blushing!" Jess giggled, which just made me blush even more.

"Stop it!" I giggled with her. "Are you guys doing anything?"

"Just a meal, and I'll probably get Rian a present or two." Cass replied.

"I'm not sure what I'm going to get him yet, but Jaime's said he's got a big surprise for me." Jess said.
"That sounds lovely, what about you, Zack?"

"Actually, I met a girl the other day." Zack looked at the ground, smiling like an idiot.

"Oh my god! Spill! Is she cute? What's her name?" I asked excitedly, he looked so happy.

"She's adorable as heck. And she's an older lady." Zack looked up to look at our reactions. "Not loads older, she's only 20. She's called Tay, she's a nurse. I got her number." There was a ginormous grin plastered across his face, he obviously really liked her.

"I know her!" I shouted. "When I stayed in hospital, she made friends with Jack. She's so nice Zack, you guys will be so cute together!" I slapped his arm. "Have you asked her out?"

"No."

"Well what are you waiting for? Text her now!" Jess said. Zack pulled his phone and started tapping at they keyboard immediately. I hope it worked out well between them, they would fit together perfectly.

After we got lunch, we went to the table and sat down with the rest of the boys.

"So, Jack, have you made any plans for Valentines Day?" Cass asked, interrupting him from a game he was playing on his mobile.

"If I tell you, I'll have to kill you." Jack smirked. "Anyway, Lex is right next to me, I'm not going to tell you when he's right there." He grabbed the hand I wasn't using to eat and held it gently.

"It better be good." I laughed, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

"Oh, it is." He gave me a quick wink before carrying on with the rest of the conversation.

"Hey Alan, have you found a band yet?" Jaime asked whilst he opened a bag of crisps.

"Nope, not yet. I'm still looking, no one needs a guitarist." He shrugged his shoulders. Alan had been looking to join a band for a while now, but he wasn't having any luck.

"Are you still single, Alan?" Vic chimed in.

"Yeah, why?"

"I know a guy. He's single, and really good looking. He's in a band, and I think he's looking for a new guitarist. He's called Austin, you'll love him. I'll hook you up with him at my party." Vic smiled.

"Ooh, Vic the matchmaker." Jaime laughed as Vic and Alan shared a fist bump over the table.

"I know, I know, you don't need to tell me, I'm just perfect." He struck an angelic pose, which made the whole table laugh.

A phone buzzed, and Zack unlocked his phone, everyone going silent, waiting for the news. "She said yes!" He shouted, his face growing into another massive smile.

Man, I can't wait for Valentines Day.

Hey, sorry this chapters crap, it's just a filler. And sorry if all the dialogue is really confusing.

i don't want it to, but this fic is nearly coming to an end :( I'm sorry, and I've really enjoyed writing it and stuff, but I will finish as Vic's party. Don't worry, there will be an epilogue and stuff though :)
