I had been back in school for a week now and everything had basically gone back to normal, apart from a few things. "Jay, you don't have a car." I replied seriously. What was up with him?

"So what else did you do? It doesn't take a whole 3 hours just to get groceries!" I was starting to get pissed.

"Okay, I know it all sounds bad, but I promise, it's good. I have surprises waiting at home." He smiled his goofy smile, and I swear my insides melted as he did.

"It better be good, Barakat. Come on, let's go." I grabbed his hands and pulled him out of the coffee shop.

We walked back to my house, and Jack wouldn't tell me anything about the surprise. I hated surprises, they just kept me on edge all the time.



Eventually, we reached our destination, and I let us both in.

"Can I have the surprise now? You know how much I hate them Jay." I whined, jumping up and down like an angry toddler.

"Sit down." Jack demanded. I did as he said, and he followed and sat ontop of me, his legs either side of mine. He leaned forward and kissed me. I liked where this was going. Hey, so I've just read over this story and I've made some really bad grammatical errors in some of the chapters and ugh I'm sorry I mentally cringed when I read over it all.
