Stay awake

I leaned back in the booth, glancing up at the waitress who was the girl I was looking for. The girl came back and sat my coffee on the table, as well as the small bowl with cream and sugar."Hopefully that's enough." She said quietly.

It took me a second to clear my throat. I nodded, looking at her."It is. Thank you." I said.

"Are you ready to order food? I can give you more time if you would like." She smiled at me politely.

I was still baffled. What do I do? She seemed to not know me from that one night. "I'm still looking." I nodded and stared at the menu.

Honestly, the words were blurred and all I could think of was her. Did she know me? Did she remember me?
