Mackenzie’s POV

So, I guess that this whole week was just another stereotypical ski trip people in movies take where they play with snow in the afternoon and fight during dinnertime. Everyone was skiing right now. Scratch that, almost everyone except me, and Graham for that matter. I’ve always been scared of these things, so I’d rather not do anything than face broken ribs if I fell from a cliff. Ugh, I’m shaking just from the feeling.

Graham and I were just sitting in front of the cabin with sweaters and blankets wrapped around us. I must admit that everything surrounding us right now was beautiful. The laughter, the bright sun, the sound of birds chirping, the white snow, and everything else in between were remarkable, but it was freezing cold!

Graham came closer and we kinda wrapped each other in the other’s arm while we held our hot cocoa. Nothing was better than hot cocoa in weather like this, so it was nice. We talked and talked about random things that popped up in our weird minds. Suddenly, I thought about something. I haven’t been the kind of person who expressed much feelings, but right now I had to say thank you to Graham after all these years. Someday we might be separated and I know that we’ll stay friends, but it was better than leaving things unsaid.

“Graham..”

“Yeah?” He asked.

“I uhm, I just have to say that I’m so lucky to have you. I seriously do and I mean it.” I replied looking up at him.

“Well, I am quite awesome, so of course you are lucky. And I’m lucky that I have you too. Yes, you may be cold and lazy at times. But you’re still a sister to me.”

“Thank you.. For everything.”

“You’re welcome, Kenz.” He said with a cheeky tone and smile. He was just the same old Graham that I liked. I loved him as a brother and he knew that. And now, I know that we’re like siblings that’ll be there for each other.

I smiled at him and he smiled back, pulling me closer in his arms because the clouds blocked the sunlight and we both needed as much warmth as possible.

“You know what?” He then said out of the blue.

“What?” I felt a little curious.

“I know that you’ve always been the one to be craving the Barakat’s “weird” guacamole, but right now, I would kill for some chips and guacamole.” The crazy thought brought me to a fit of laughter. I knew the Barakat’s guacamole would turn blue sometimes, but it was damn good and I must say that Graham wasn’t the only one craving for some guacamole.

Notes

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating for a while. Had a little a writer's block, but since no one notified me, I guess none of you were really interested.. I apologize for this shitty update/chapter because I'm a shitty writer, but I hope that it made up for the three weeks I didn't update.

(I personally like their friendship and yeah. c: )
