"Alex, we're not cancelling the shows. You can't do that to the fans." Flyzik said, not moving. "I know you're worried about her, but you can't drop everything to see her. Not now."
Alex paced up and down the isle of the bus, running his fingers through his hair. Of course, he knew he couldn't just drop everything and get to Charlotte when they were in California. "I'm just so worried that she's gonna do something before anyone can get to her."
"Call her," Rian said, poking his head out of his bunk. It was morning by now; this had been a night long argument.
Alex nodded and pulled out his phone. It rang and rang, and after the fourth ring she picked up. Alex let out a sigh of relief.
"Alex!"
"Bridget! I'm so glad to hear your voice."
"What, what's wrong?"
"You- you were cutting."
Her voice went stiff. "How did you know about that?"
"Bradley texted me last night. I tried to cancel the tour to come back, but they told me to call you instead."
"You wouldn't need to do that."
"I know, honey are you oka-"
"I have to go, Alex."
"No, wait Brid-" the line went dead. Alex threw down his phone in frustration. "What did she say?" Jack spoke up for the first time.
"She seemed fine until I mentioned the self harming. Then she hung up on me.
"Just leave her alone now that you know she's fine. She'll be okay." Zack said, being the last one to wake up.
Alex nodded, although he knew from experience that people couldn't just be "okay" that quickly. He knew things weren't back to normal. Not yet.
