Blaze's P.O.V
"Blaze Gaskarth!" I let out a loud groan and flipped over mashing my face into the mattress "you need to get up" a soft voice came in "we have practice today" another voice I just flipped them off and heard the chuckle before my body met with the floor "you two idiots better run" I stood up just in time to catch a view of my two idiot best friends Slade and Dax, I chased the two all the way outside and down the street until I tackled Dax to the ground and Slade jumped on top of me and we just sat here for awhile before we decided to go back into the house "so you wanna go get breakfast" Slade asked leaping onto the couch "I thought we had practice" I said "well we do but I'm hungry" Dax says taking a seat next to Slade "fine just let me get ready" they both groaned "assholes" I mumbled running up the stairs "I heard that!" Dax shouted I just rolled my eyes "what'd she say?" Slade asked "she called us assholes" he responded "rude" Slade shouted I just ran to the bathroom and locked the door quickly turning the shower on and letting the water heat up. I got dressed in my blue jeans and a black tank top then dried my bright red hair leaving it down I went to my room and grabbed my leather jacket and my boots slipping those on and grabbing my wallet before heading downstairs "come on lets head out" so the three of us got into Slade's car and started out on the road "turn some music on" Dax asked from the back "alright" so I turned on the stereo and on came 'A Love Like War' as Alex's voice blared threw the speakers until the song was switched halfway through "you ok Blaze" Slade asked turning the car off I didn't even know we were here "yea I'm ok" I showed a smile "you're lying" Dax said and I dropped my head "yea I am lying, I'm not ok I miss my brother, he left three years ago and since then I have been living in his house alone" Slade and Dax looked shocked as if they had no idea how I had felt but they knew this was a touchy topic I never liked to talk about it, Alex just got up and left, not one word, no call no text no nothing. "why don't we go inside" Slade said so we got out of the car and went inside Ihop and were shown a table it wasn't that crowded because it was quiet early it was actually only five in the morning it was still dark out but there was a bunch of people at one table and a nice old man at the bar area "hi what can I get you to start" our waitress walked over "um can I just get a coffee" I ask she nods "I will have a glass of orange juice" Dax said "and I will just have some water" the waitress scribbled this down and smiles "alright I will be back with those drinks and to take your order" she closed the book and walked away. Dax and I were laughing over something and Slade had gone to the bathroom when the drinks were sat down in front of us "can I take your order?" the waitress came back "umm I will just have some eggs and bacon" I said she wrote it down "can I get the pancakes" Dax said she nods and writes it down Slade sat back down "and what can I get you" she asked "oh I would like the french toast" Slade said she nods and walks away. Dax had spilled something over his shirt which "damn you cup" he mumbled "don't be mean to the cup for your stupidity" I said Slade almost spit out what he was drinking trying to hold in a laugh "its all over my ATL shirt" he whined "well good for you then" I knew that some of the people from the other table were looking but I didn't care, the waitress brought us our food then went back to the other table filled with people as they ordered one voice stuck out I knew that voice anywhere "can I get iced tea and some eggs" I ignored him and just tried to finish my food "whoa slow down this isn't a race" Slade said but I ignored and finished after twenty minutes "we have practice guys" I said but they weren't even halfway done eating "I am gonna pay then go for a walk I'll meet you at the car in an hour" I said getting up and walked over to the cashier I saw that sweet old man just sitting there "hey uh can you add his tab to mine" I said the cashier smiled and nodded "your total comes to 12.74" he said so I paid and walked out the door I grabbed my headphones when a girl about 16 runs up to me her hair was blue with a green dip-dye "hey I saw you walk out of Ihop and I instantly noticed you, you're Blaze from Silver Bullet can I take a picture with you" I nod "of course" so we did "what are you doing out this early in the morning" I asked her "taking a walk clearing my head, I live with my brother, our parents died in a drunk driving accident and things have been really hard" she said "do you want to talk about it" I ask she nods and we walked to a park.
