A.N: Hey guys! Sorry for the long wait. I've been working on the new story. I've been so into it, & I'm so excited for you guys to read it. Maybe I'll put a little excerpt up in the notes. ;)

I woke up the next morning in a fit of tears from a rather disturbing dream.

Jack had noticed my thrashing about, so he'd woken me up & he held me until I calmed down.

"Jack... we can't stay here," I said.

"We have to, Rebecca. Moving is too stressful, & you know it," he said. He was right. I sighed & rolled off the bed & onto the floor with a heavy thud. I wasn't in the mood for anything, & I was informed late last night that the court case would be next week, which was very close.

"Babe, get up off the floor please," Jack said with another sigh.

"No!" I said into the carpet. He got off the bed & approached me, picking me up & setting me back on the bed. He kissed me gently, & I tensed up slightly, not all too comfortable with intimate actions.

"Well babe, I've gotta hit the studio today. Will you be comfortable here by yourself?" Jack asked, & I immediately shook my head.

"Okay. Family trip to the studio," he said with a smile.

Once the three of us were ready, we headed to the studio, where we basically just sat & listened to them play & talk about music. Jackie was interested in all the instruments, & she enjoyed sitting on Zack's lap.

I just sat in a corner & tried to forget about the events of yesterday, but that resulted in me breaking down, causing Jack to try & calm me down again.

"I'm so sorry, guys," I said as I sniffed.

"What happened, Rebecca?" Alex asked.

"Not talking about it," I said, feeling a little annoyed.

"I'll tell them later, Becca," Jack said, & I nodded.
