I woke up the next morning to a door slamming.

I instantly sat up and looked around. No one was in the living room except me; I think.

"Jack?" I called out. When he didn't answer back, I stood up and silently walked through the living room into the kitchen, my heart beating fast.

"You were looking for Jack?" A male voice asked from behind me. It wasn't Jack's. I spun around and swallowed hard.

"Why are you here?" I asked as I slowly backed up. I stopped when I hit a counter by the sink, my gaze never leaving his.

"Oh you know... to get what I want. Again," he said with a sinister smile.

"Oh Rebecca, you're so beautiful. Rebecca, Rebecca, Rebecca," he said as he stepped closer.

I was woken up by Jack.

"Rebecca! Rebecca wake up!" He said, shaking me until my eyes finally opened.

"What?" I asked, slowly sitting up.

"I-I came downstairs and you were thrashing about. What happened?" He asked.

"Nothing," I snapped, and I stood up. I pushed past him and headed upstairs for a shower. He caught my wrist halfway up the stairs, and I sighed before turning around.

"I'm sorry, Becca. I'm sorry for being such a dick yesterday. It's just, I was angry that your sister called you what she did. You don't deserve to be treated that way, and I mean it. I love you, Becca, and I can't wait to marry you," Jack said, and it seemed like all my anger washed away. I stepped down a step so I was shorter than Jack, and I pressed my lips to his softly.

"I love you too, and I accept your apology. Now come shower with me," I said, and I pulled Jack towards the bathroom.

We ended up having make-up sex, and holy shit, it was the best. When we got out of the shower, we were both breathing heavily.

"Shit that was good," Jack said.

"You took the words straight out of my mouth," I said as we got dressed in our room.

Everything was okay... for now.
