Epilogue
When I come down to the kitchen the next morning, I see Austin already up and sitting on his spot in the living room.
"Hey, Austin" I greet him, "do you even sleep at all?"
"Well I didn't get a lot of sleep because you guys weren't exactly quiet last night" he replied sounding pissed off.
"What? I didn't make a single sound!" I grip my heart in fake indignation.
"Oh, I didn't know Alan screams his own name while having sex, then." Austin plays along.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he did, he is so up himself sometimes." I chuckle.
"I heard that!" Alan calls out from the stairs.
I hug Austin. "Oh Mr. Grumpyhead I am sorry we kept you awake last night."
"Of course still only in her underwear" he mutters under his breath loud enough for me to hear.
I release him. "Christ, pull yourself together mate, you'll gonna see a lot more of this from now on." I joke.
"Noooooo, nooo!" Alan rushes to me and lifts his shirt to pull it over my upper body. "No look, no touch, here." He points at Austin.
I am squeezed against his bare chest inside his shirt, I try to turn around. "Alan that is stupid I can't see a thing how am I supposed to make breakfast?" I mumble caught up in the fabric.
"Well let me help you, then" he shoves me to the cooktop, takes my arms and moves them around like a puppet to crack the eggs into the frying pan. We miss the first two but after that we get the swing of working together. It is only when we serve the scrambled eggs on Austin's plate that some of it hits his lap.
We can't stop giggling at the look on his face.
"Will I have to put up with the two of you in a double pack from now on?"Austin asks unhappy.
"And imagine soon there will be three of us" Alan replies smiling, laying his hand on my belly as I freed myself from his shirt.
Austin jumps up from the couch"What? WHAT?" He looks from Alan to me and back, his hands gripping his hair."W H A T?" Now he practically yells at us.
I give him my widest smile "Oh yeah, Uncle Austin. We are getting... A puppy!" We crack up laughing.
"Austin, you are such a dork, we have been together for like one night, you really believed he got me pregnant? Who do you think we are? Virgin Mary and the godfather himself?"
We collapse onto the couch together and I land on Alan's lap and hold my stomach still unable to breathe through my fits.
"With the two of you together, I guess everything is possible." Austin replies sour, but he has to grin at the situation and shakes his head.
Alan gets serious and looks into my eyes. "I guess so" he mumbles and pulls me close for a kiss. Then I just rest my head on his heart.
That was when it occurred to me:
The most important thing in life is not so much what you do, it is who you do it with.

Hmm... so just finished this, lol. I am a fast reader I guess, I only just started it. :O I read the first installment but I'll just leave my overall feedback here.
Ugh, the struggle though. I mean, I'm happy that Easy figured herself out and realized who she wanted to be with... I'm just very biased with ATL though, lol. So I was kind of sad with how this one ended too, idk.
This one also made me sad with how much I felt like the band members took advantage of her. Again, in the end she was finally happy, but it was just sad how horribly AA treated her and then she went and helped the one member anyway, even though I personally just would have left him... like c'mon, she could've been paralyzed for real this time and she still gave that douche another chance. I just... it kind of saddened me how she did that. He seemed grateful, but still. Sigh...
But, again, I will look at this from a broader perspective: writing wise it was awesome, you did a great job with it. And there was kind of a live and learn lesson with it, so kudos to that.
The only thing I was left questioning was that, okay, so was her and Alex separating their official goodbye to each other? Because it just didn't seem like it to me, and that seemed like it was never totally resolved, just like, a final phone call or something with him probably would have been a bit more clarifying on that front. But in regards to her other relationship possibilities, at least they were closed off, or opened up in Alan's case. But that's the only question I was really left with, I think. Maybe I just didn't read that part the way I was supposed to, lol.
But, great job. Onto your new one. :D (Which, upon looking briefly, probably shouldn't take me long to comment on since it's still getting started. So expect another comment in a few moments, lol.)
