Oh, Calamity.

I sat cuddling Alex for the whole day whilst he recovered from his hangover. I knew us being this close must seem a bit weird to a lot of people but Alex doesn't care, I don't care and it doesn't seem like Rian and Zack care either. They're practically the same with eachother so I don't suppose they could mind.

Right now we were round at Alex's as he wanted to thank me for looking after him, not that it was needed. I was happy to take care of him whenever he needed it.

'Fuck you' Alex yelled as I once again beat him at the game we were playing.

'It's not my fault you're awful at this' I retorted, shoving a handful of popcorn in my mouth.

'Im not even awful, I beat Rian and Zack all the time!' He retorted, throwing his controller down and folding his arms over his chest. Successfully looking like a toddler and to be honest it was pretty cute. What? There I go with the cute thing again. What's gotten into me?

I was interrupted from my thoughts when a very heavy weight suddenly appeared in my lap knocking all the air out of my lungs.

'What you thinking about Jackkyy' Alex whined.

'Oh you know just the fact you're breaking my legs, fat ass' I said casually flicking my fringe out of my face.

'Ya wanna fight?' He asked playfully cocking an eyebrow at me and punching me in the side.

'Oh it's so on Gaskarth!' I yelled standing up and sending him toppling onto the floor. I laughed at his face as he lay there shocked, limbs splayed out in all directions.

'Ha, I wi-' my sentence was cut off by Alex grabbing my ankle and pulling me down so I landed next to him.

'Who won?' He questioned playfully rolling on top of me. 'Oh yeah I did' he said his face only inches from mine. His eyes bearing into mine and i started getting butterflies. He was far too close for my liking right now, his chest against mine, no doubt he felt my hammering heart beat and his legs all tangled with mine. This closeness was not helping my confusion. I felt like I was suffocating on the air around us. I gently rolled him off of me and back onto the floor.

'Yeah, you won Lexy' I said gently as he rolled back on top of me placing his arms at either side of my head trying to regain my eye contact.

'Whats wrong?' He asked, worriedly. Still trying to get my eye contact.

'Nothing's wrong' I insisted knowing that he didn't believe me.

'Did I do something?' He said moving his face even closer to mine until I could feel his breath on my lips and all over my face. He looked genuinely upset and I felt bad for acting like this just cause I'm confused.

'No of course you haven't' I said gently stroking his side reassuringly watching as his smile returned.

'You know you can talk to me about anything, right?' He asked still way to close to my face for me to take. I nodded my head not trusting my words.

'Alex get down here!' A slightly British accent called up the stairs. I assumed it belonged to Alex's mum.

'Always fucking interrupting' he muttered under his breath. 'I'll be right back' he said getting off me and pulling me up before walking out and down the stairs.

I let my head fall Into my hands and exhaled the breath id been holding. I really need to get a grip. I can't be feeling these things for my new best friends. I just can't.

Get a fucking grip Barakat.
