Oh, Calamity.

I laughed a little as the terrified look fell from Jacks face and was replaced with one of humour.

'Dude, you had me scared there!' He complained, picking up his bag and effortlessly throwing it over his shoulders.

'You should be scared, chemistry is a nightmare and so is the teacher!' I exclaimed as I led Jack down the halls towards the stairs to get back to Chemistry.

'I actually quite like chemistry' He said matter of factly as we began our trek up the stairs. Why couldn't we just use the elevators? I'm too lazy for this!

'Oh and here I was thinking we could be friends but now you've said that I'm just not sure' I joked lightly watching as Jacks face fell and he mumbled something incoherent letting his fringe fall in his face. Oh well done Alex, upset the new kid why don't you as though his day isn't going to be hard enough.

'Hey, I'm joking!' I quickly back tracked. 'You're more than welcome to hang with me and my friends Rian and Zack. The more the merrier' I exclaimed watching as the smile came back to his face.

'Yeah, we'll see. I might get a better offer though' He replied cheekily.

'Hey you, be careful or I'll abandon you and leave you to get to chemistry on your own' I joked, enjoying how easily conversation flowed between the two of us. It was nice.

'That's not much of a threat seeing as we are already here' Jack replied with a shit eating grin, gesturing to Mr Rights room. I hadn't even noticed we were nearly back yet. I guess time flies when you're having fun.

I opened the door for a now very nervous looking Jack and shoved him inside gently gesturing Jack and introducing him to the class as he waved awkwardly. Now it was time to introduce Jack.

'And welcome to hell Jack'
