Oh, Calamity.

I woke up the morning after our day at the beach with an incredibly sore arm and half my body pinned to the mattress by a rather heavy weight. My first reaction would have been to have panicked and done some ninja shit to get the body off me but thankfully I managed to remember that Alex had stayed over at mine after yesterday. If yesterday even happened, it all kind of feels like a dream to me at the moment. I can’t believe Alex would want to kiss me. I knew he wasn’t straight and that he preferred guys but I mean c’mon have you seen me? Why’d he want to kiss that? But as long as he did actually want it and wasn’t making a mistake then I’m not going to complain.

The only thing I’m going to complain about right now is the fact I need to pee but I’m being held down by a sleeping Alex who seems to have rolled on top of me at some point during the night.

‘Lexyyy bear’ I whispered, moving slightly to try and wake him enough to get him to move. ‘Can you get off me please’

I got no response apart from a gentle snore. So I tried again. No response. Then I tried again. Still getting nothing. My god, he’s a heavy fucking sleeper. I can’t wait till he wakes up, I gotta go piss now or I’m going to explode.

I tried to shuffle out from under him but that didn’t help at all cause his body only seemed to move with mine instead of off of mine. However the commotion of moving did wake him up slightly.

‘Stop fucking moving’ He whined, sleepily his eyes squinting against the light of my room.

‘But I got pee!’ I complained trying to move again only to get hit in the face by his arm.

‘I said stop it’ He mumbled, as his eyes closed and he fell back asleep. I swear if this is what’s going to happen every time he stays over I’m going to make him sleep on the floor or in the backyard or something. My urge to pee had gotten so bad that I felt like my bladder was on fire and that’s where I got my next idea from.

‘WAKE UP THERES A FIRE’ I yelled frantically jumping up and running from the room to the bathroom.

‘WHERE?’ Alex yelled as I heard him roll out of bed and onto the floor with a massive thump. I would have been concerned for him but I had a more pressing issue to deal with, I still needed to piss. I managed to get to the toilet before I exploded in a mess of pee and and other human parts.

Ten minutes later and I was all set to go back and deal with a grumpy Alex. No, it didn’t take me ten minutes to pee. I may or may not have washed my face, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and styled it a little but not too much. I didn’t want it to be obvious that I had acted like a woman and tidied myself up for Alex cause he would never let me live it down. After double checking that I definitely looked somewhat decent I walked back to my room to see Alex still lying on the floor looking less than amused.

‘So what exactly was on fire Jack?’ He questioned raising an eyebrow at me.

‘My bladder!’ I protested. ‘Seriously Lex I was about to burst’

‘People can’t burst you idiot’ He said standing up and sitting on the edge of my bed whilst fixing his hair which even though he had just woken up still looked perfect.

‘Well I was about to be the first ever to burst and it would have all been your fault. Bet you feel guilty now huh?’ I joked, crossing the room and jumping over Alex and back into my bed hiding my face under the covers.

‘You’re an idiot Jack Barakat’ Alex said with a sigh.

‘Yeah, well I’m your idiot……FOREVER’ I joked hoping Alex would catch onto the big bang theory reference. I guess he must have as he giggled slightly and lay down next to me curling into my side and putting his head into the crook of my neck which was still covered by the bed sheets.

Suddenly Alex rolled on top of me, pulled the covers of my face and smacked me with a pillow. All of these actions came as quite a shock to me and had left me a little bit dazed and confused.

‘That’s for being a knob, you knob ‘ Alex laughed throwing the pillow back onto the bed and climbing back in next to me getting into the same position we had woken up in.

‘You know Jack, I’ve been thinking’ Alex started. Oh god here comes the ‘yesterday was a mistake speech’. I tried to hide my disappointment by making a stupid joke.

‘Oh really? Did it hurt?’ I said with a feeble laugh wishing I still had the covers to hide my face with.

‘Shut up, I’m trying to be serious’ he scolded smacking my arm.

‘Sorry’ I mumbled.

‘Anyway, as I was saying. I’ve been thinking and I want to know if you’d like to go out on a date… y’know with me’ He added on gently. Surprise over took me and the only response I could come up with was ‘Oh’. Well in Jack.

‘Well unless of course you don’t want to, sorry I’ve made it awkward’ Alex mumbled shifting away from me. I quickly grabbed him back and pulled him into me.

‘Of course I’d like to go out on a date with you Alex. In fact I’d love to’ I said, surprised at the fact I didn’t stutter or break down into happy tears or something. I swear I should have been born a girl sometimes.

‘Would you really? Like you know you don’t have to just cause you feel bad or whatever’ Alex rambled uncertainly. I silenced him by pressing my finger to his lips.

‘Yes I would really. Who wouldn’t want to go on a date with someone as beautiful as you?’ I asked, smiling as he blushed a little bit.

‘But I expect so much romance’ I joked. ‘I want a candle lit dinner, roses, chocolates the whole works’

‘I’ll romance you off your feet my little princess’ Alex cooed, pressing a gentle kiss to my lips which I returned happily until Alex pulled away and moved up to whisper in my ear.

‘I like the fact you snuck off to the bathroom to get beautiful for me, princess’

Aww shit, I was caught.
