The First Time

Zack’s POV

I was in Rian’s garage after band practice when I started thinking about Emma. I’ve grown to be really close with her and I want her to come to Band practice tomorrow. I haven’t told the guys about her yet, but I am going to and I am not sure how they would react, but suddenly Alex popped up from the kitchen and said,

“Zack, you’ve been quieter than usual. What’s going on? I have a feeling there’s a girl. Is there?”

I replied with a small smile.

“Ooooooh, who is she? What’s she like? Jack asked.

“And why haven’t we meet her yet? Just because we go to different schools doesn’t mean we don’t care about stuff like this.” Rian added.

“She’s new in Towson High. Met her a month ago. I don’t know why, but I feel like she’s special. Just need to get to know her better.” I said

“You should ask her to come tomorrow. Invite her to band practice. I promise, we’ll try to act as cool as possible.” Alex responded

“Yeah, you should invite her. I want to get to know her.” Rian added

“God, I am so excited.” Jack said

“Are you sure you want to invite her? Like, I don’t know if she’s going to say yes, even though I want her to come. It’s just are you sure? What if you don’t like her?” I asked the guys.

“Who cares?! At least we get to see her. I mean, we don’t know what she’s going to be like before we get to meet her. Take a chance Zack” Jack replied

“Okay, I’ll ask her tomorrow. By the way, thanks guys” I replied to Jack and the others.

“No problem.” They all said together.
