While at work, Jack couldn’t stop thinking about Alex (not as if that was something new, but it was different today, he was worried about this whole death threat thing). He was glad he had been able to work his charms on Alex and he hoped Alex would in fact go to the police.

He couldn’t forget the panic and anxiety of Alex at the prospect of losing his position as a priest. He was scrolling through his phone when he suddenly had an idea. This might help Alex a lot. He smiled and began to type his text.

To: Alex
hey so I just had a great idea for you like you could make a website for ppl who need help from a priest for a lil money
Jack set down his phone and sighed happily. This had been a great idea. He hoped Alex would like it too.

When he finally got home, he was looking forward to some hot action with Alex. But instead, he found Alex on the bed, barely breathing, his eyes closed and his phone nowhere to be seen. Jack felt the panic rush through his body and he ran over to the older man, dropping his jacket.

“Alex! Alex, can you hear me?” Jack practically shouted as he felt Alex’s pulse. It was very weak.

“Yes… Jack… Bring me to the hospital, quick…” Alex pressed out.
“Of course!” Jack called immediately and within minutes, he and Alex were in the ambulance on their way to the hospital. Jack was holding Alex’s hand as he was strapped to the uncomfortable chair.

“It’ll all be okay, Alex, I promise, I’m with you,” he said, tears stinging in his eyes. He tried to force them back but when they arrived at the hospital, he couldn’t do it anymore. He broke down crying on a hard, cold plastic chair. He was so scared Alex would die. He wouldn’t want to be without him. Ever.
