Be Careful What You Wish For
Prologue
“I can’t live like this,” Jack says as his hands pull at his hair and a single tear falls down his face. “I have to have her here with me. The dreams, the visions, they won’t go away unless she’s here with me!”
“Calm down,” Alex tries to tell him. “We’ll figure this out.”
He tries to take Jack’s hands away from his hair before he pulls too hard and some comes out. Jack pushes him away. Alex can’t believe this. He can’t believe what has happened to his best friend. If anyone saw him and didn’t know what was happening to him, they would think that he’s crazy. If it wasn’t for the evidence, Alex would think that he’s crazy too.
“Get away from me!” More tears falls down his cheeks. “I have to go see her! She’s the only way to stop all of this!”
Jack runs past his friend and out of the place before Alex can stop him. He quickly gets into his car and speeds off in hope of locating her. He knows where she lives, but he’s never been there before. The speed of the car is above the limit, but Jack could care less. He has to get some sleep. He has to get these visions to stop. He has to feel normal again. He has to get to her before he goes completely mad.

I actually didn't plan on showing more of a reason of why she is the way she is, but it ended up getting written somehow. lol. I can see her reasoning for stuff, but she is still a bitch about it all. At least the have the summer together. I just love how Rose was taking lead with that. lol.
I'm currently trying to decide on if I'm going to add one scene or not, and then I should be able to plan out the next chapters better. The next one is easy, but I'll need to watch the pacing if the one scene is added. This week I have to write up the first draft of my short story for my writing class, so I'm probably just going to plan out the chapters this week.
And no problem! I actually find it so interesting to go back to my old stuff. I keep all of my old stories and ideas in case I want to reuse them or just look back. Fan fiction is what got me really back into writing as a sophomore, so no matter what, it's always going to have a place in my heart.
