Guts

After the first week of school Yanni, Jack, Zack, and I all met up to discuss the band. Zack had football practice after school everyday until 5 and Yanni had band practice until 4. We decided that practice would be every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 6. Since it was the weekend Zack was staying in town with his mom so we all wanted to go out to a movie. We went and got Maria and Jasey plus a chick Yanni was going to take. We all crammed into Zacks 5 seater car. Everyone was in everyone’s lap, it was hilarious. I don’t even remember the movie because we were all to busy laughing and throwing popcorn at each other. Lucky we were the only ones in there.

After the movie Yanni had to go home so the rest of us went to the park to keep acting like fools. Jack jumped up on the monkey bars and claimed king of the hill. Zack shot me a look and Maria giggled and then we rushed Jack! Zack grabbed his legs and Maria and I jumped up with him and she tickled him while I pushed him down to Zack. I jumped down and grabbed his arms and Zack and I carried him to the puddle that was on the ground. He was kicking and squirming the whole way. He kept telling us to put him down or we would pay. Eventually we just dropped him in the puddle and ran off. He was pissed! But it was hilarious. Maria had stayed on the monkey bars and claimed queen of the hill, Jasey was on the swings, and Zack ran and climbed up a tree so that left me with the slide.

Jack climbed out of the puddle sopping wet and had revenge in his eyes. Maria was still giggling at him so she was the first victim. He ran up to her and pulled her down before she could even blink. He gave her a big hug and a sloppy wet kiss on the cheek. She shrieked about her shirt being ruined but he didn’t seem to hear he was after me next. He started climbing the slide so I went down the steps, but little did I know Maria was there waiting for me; she grabbed me while Jack came for me. Next thing I know Jack had tackled me and was getting me drenched! He then went after Zack, who was still in the tree. He couldn’t even help me out, Traitor!

~How in the hell am I a traitor? We both went our separate ways, every man for himself you know!
^ Whatever you just wanted to save your own skin, you could have warned me that your sister was there!
~ But it was funny!
^Yea yea thanks Zack!

Anyway, Jack scaled the tree like it was nothing and gave Zack a nice big hug and licked his face! Zack was mortified, Jack jumped from the tree like nothing had happened and went back to the monkey bars with Maria. I walked over to Jasey and tried to give her a hug but she just pushed me off saying I was not going to get her wet. I walked away all mopey like with a plan in mind. She started following me as I walked behind a group of trees. I took my shirt off and made it seem like I was going to ring it out when she came up behind me. Now the plan was to get her wet with my shirt but it didn’t work that way. She came up behind me and put her arms around me and her head on my back. I dropped my shirt and turned around. She still had a hold of my waist. I was just a bit taller than her so I looked down at her. Her brown hair was flowing down past her shoulders; she was wearing a Blink shirt and black shorts. She looked up at me and her brown eyes drew me in. Before I knew what I was doing and before I could stop my self, I kissed her.

Full on kiss on the lips. I was so caught up in the moment I forgot to be nervous. All I could feel was her arms around my naked waist and my lips on hers. I moved me hands up to the back of her head and pulled her closer. We were both lost in the moment when we heard someone clear their throat, Jack was standing there and he did not look amused.

We pulled away breathless, I was speechless. She gave me a look that spoke volumes and sauntered away. Jack and I watched her go. I was still breathless and I could only imagine what I looked like.

*I can tell you how you looked. You looked dumbstruck, like a dear in the oncoming lights! Your cheeks and your whole chest was cherry red. It was funny, I also think I saw a lil one eyed monster try to peak out of your shorts to come play. *
^ Jack! We are not going there!!

But what can I say really? It was my first kiss.
