Thanks To You

Jack POV:
Alex lead me through the forest we had parked by. I didn't know where we were going but as long as he was with me I was okay with it. His hand was in mine and my legs felt like giving out from the contact. Then the trees opened up to a sort of grotto. It was truly beautiful. The grass was green and look very soft with wild flowers growing here and there. The sun peaked through the trees just a tiny bit, making it a comfortable place to be.

“Wow…” I whispered and Alex grinned at me. “Welcome to my secret hide out! If I’m not at school I’m either sick or here!” he said sweeping his arms wide as he backed into the area. I followed him then and sat next to him when he laid down in the grass.

“Jack, I’m-”

“Alex, seriously don’t worry about it. If you think about it, it was all my fault. I shouldn't have thought you were gay and I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I’m glad you still want to be my friend and I will definitely take you up on that. So, I'm the one who should be sorry. If you don’t mind I kind of want to go home and rest some rest.” I said as I began to stand up.

That’s when Alex reached out and grabbed my wrist, I winced and he let go. “S-Sorry, I didn't think I grabbed you that-” He stopped then, to my own shock, grabbed my wrist again and pulled my jacket sleeve up. Shit. I tried to make him let go but he was stronger than I thought.

“Let me go Alex!” I said and tried to squirm away form him.

“Is this because of me?” he whispered, not looking at me, just at the angry looking cut on my wrist. I stopped struggling and looked down at the ground. Then Alex pulled me into a hug.

“I’m so sorry Jack.” he whispered, I felt his tears hitting my coat. It shocked me so bad that tears welled up into my own eyes and we both began to cry. Kneeling back onto the grass while holding each other.

Alex POV:
When I was done crying I held onto Jack until he had calmed down.

"A-Alex, I'm so-"

I didn't let him finish before I pressed my lips against his. He was shocked for a second, then began to kiss me back. We kissed for what felt like hours. Kisses that turned from soft, sweet pecks, to passionate, long kisses within seconds from each other. after a while I felt his tongue graze my lower lip. I thought for a second then allowed him in. Our tongues danced together and I moaned slightly, feeling embarrassed almost right away. Then he pulled back, both of our breathing was uneven and our faces were red.

"A-Alex."

I pulled him into a hug. "I'm not quite sure what will happen from here on Jay. All I know is I want every moment, good or bad, to be with you." He sucked in a breath then hugged me back.

I have no idea how long we laid there, holding each other, placing gentle kisses on one and others lips now and then. It was interrupted by my phone going off. I groaned and moved away from Jack a bit. He giggled, freaking giggled! I was going to die!

"Alex? Honey? Where are you? You need to come home, it's getting late." My moms voice came from the other end.

"Yeah, sorry mom. I'm with a friend. I'll be home soon, I promise." I sighed when I hung up.

"Sorry Jay."

"No it's okay, I should be getting home soon too or my mom will be worried."

Once we got back to the car I drove him to his house, it was kind of awkward until his hand reached across the console and intertwined our fingers together. I smiled and almost too soon we arrived at him house. before he could even open the door I leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his cheek.

"I'll see you tomorrow Jay." I said, smiling at him before leaning back into the drivers seat. He smiled back at me as he got out, but before he closed the door I heard a soft.

"Night Lex."

I glanced up at him but he was already walking through his door. I smiled, he gave me a nickname! I couldn't stop smiling the whole way home. This was a perfect day...
