The Next Big Thing

Becca’s POV:
“Guys relax, she’ll be okay.”

“I’m more worried about what her parents will do to Rian.”

Alex, Jack, Zack and I were sat around my kitchen table talking, after 4 hours of Rian and Cass talking last night, and us all crashing at my house, it was Saturday and Rian and Cass went to talk to Rian and Cass’s houses to tell both their parents. My phone started ringing, I answered it assuming it was Cass of Rian, “Cass? Rian?” I asked quickly.

“Um no… This is Austin Carlile… from Of Mice& Men the band… I’m looking for Becca of Raw Amp Music company… Is this the right number?”

“Oh yes, I’m sorry, yeah you have the right number, what can I do for you Austin?” I asked, standing up and walking into my office.

“Um, I was just wondering if you had gotten the demo I sent up, I mailed it over a week ago?” He asked carefully.

“Oh shit, yes I did Austin I forgot to call and tell you I’m sorry, my life has been a little hectic lately, but yes I did get it, I listened to and it was quite good, would it be possible for you and your band to come up for a meeting?” I asked, looking up the band in my computer, “It says here you’re 18 so you won’t be needing your parents; however if any of your band members are under 18 their parents will need to come with you.”

“Um I’m not sure if that’s possible we’re from California, and I don’t know if we can all get the money for the plan and everything…” He said drifting off.

“The company will pay for everything, how about 2 weeks from now for a long weekend, say 3, maybe 4 days?” I asked

“Yeah that’d be great!” He said back so excited.

“Alright I’ll see you then Austin I’ll be sending all the information your way” I responded hanging up, and leaning back in my chair.

“Babe.” I turned around and found Zack standing in my doorway.

“Hey Zack, what’s up?” I asked.

“Why are you still working?” He asked

“What do you mean?” I asked back angrily.

“Cass is pregnant, your friends life is changing, and you’re here talking to some guy having him come visit you!” He spat back.

“Were you listening to my conversation?! And guess what Zack I HAVE to work, this is my job now, my life can’t stop because Cass and Rian couldn’t figure out how to use a condom!” I said back, great, now Zack and I were fighting.

“I can’t believe you just said that! And yes I was listening cause I get a little concerned when MY girlfriend starts talking to some other guy!”

“Jesus Zack, it’s BUSINESS, this is why I don’t do relationships! Do you know what just get out! Leave my house!” I screamed at him but he just stood there, “NOW!” He then turned and stormed out slamming the front door on his way. I got back into the living room and found Alex and Jack sitting there staring at me, I forgot they were here, and probably heard everything. “Not now guys, I think I just broke up with my first boyfriend.” Alex and Jack just looked at me, Alex stood up and walked into the kitchen, and walking back with some chips and candy (I hated the ice cream thing.)

“Come on, Bec’s let’s watch a movie.” Alex said. I just nodded and sat down with them.

Sorry guys i know it isn't that good, and I also know that it doesnt really talk about Cass but the thing is I still need to continue on with my other characters and stories, cause I hate when stories dont talk at all about the side characters.

Also if you guys ever want to know what's going to happen in the story if you message me with suggestions or questions I'll probably be willing to give you a spoiler or hint.
