"Alex you haven't gone mad. I'm here little brother"

Jack walked back into the elevator slowly breathing in and out, Alex was alive. He was okay, well he was breathing and that was okay. He might still be in critical condition, but he'll be okay.

" Alex is okay. Alex is okay. Alex is okay." Jack repeated to himself in the elevator. It stopped on the second floor and someone walked in. Jack moved to the corner of the elevator and smiled a strange smile at the woman. It felt like the elevator was a moving box of awkwardness. Jack didn't know how to feel, he knew that he was okay, he knew that Alex was okay for now.

Jack walked off the elevator at the hospital, and went into the gift shop by the front doors and looked around.He looked at the cards that sat in a rotating card holder, Jack just stood there and spun them until he saw May pull up.

He walked to the car and got inside. May turned the radio down and looked at Jack concerned.

"Jack, the doctors called me after they took you to the hospital and got your friend Rian to identify you. Mr. Gaskarth was taken into the local jail for the night until he could be charged. How are you doing?"

Jack nodded, "I'm just fine May I'm totally fine. I saw my boyfriend get shot by his own father and then I fainted. IFUCKINGFAINTEDMAY. In the most dire situation I have ever been in, I fainted. He shot my boyfriend, I'm sure with intent to fucking kill him and I'm just fucking peachy. I'm fine I'm like an overdue library book. FINE!" Jack slammed the door and crossed his arms. "Will you take me to get my car now?"

"Jack Bassam Barakat. I know you are not fine. I do not know what you saw last night.
I know that Alex is not okay for now. I know he is CCU. I know his father is in jail and his mother is sitting in the jail waiting room, because she is to afraid to leave her husbands side. I have you now Jack, I may not be Alex, but I am your sister and I have you and I will not let anything happen to you. It's hard, but Jacky that is life. I love you."

Jack uncrossed his arms and kissed his sister on the cheek. "I love you too May."

May left the circle drive of the hospital, and turned the radio up a bit. She and Jack drove in silence for a few minutes.

Jack slowly started to speak again. "Ma-May? Do you really think that Alex isn't okay right now?"

May sighed and placed her hand on Jack's knee. "Jack, he's in critical care still. It's almost been a day. I can't say he'll be fine,and I can't say he will die. I just know that right now Alex is not okay."

I was starting writing this, and the class that is next to my room is so loud I couldn't focus, so I started watching Cody Carson cover songs. And now its like a half an hour later and Okay.
