For Baltimore (Part Two)

Next Day

"But Alex.. I want you to come over." I said into my phone.

"But I'm getting ready right now. I'll be over when I'm done. Why don't you get ready?" He asked.

"I don't care if you're getting ready. I'm already done, so.." I said.

"I'm almost done. I'll be there in five minutes." He said. I let out a sigh.

"Fine." I said, and I hung up.

"You ready Sam?" I asked as she walked by. She stopped in her tracks and looked at me.

"Yep. You sure you can do it tonight?" She asked.

"I'm pretty sure." I said with a nod. She softly smiled and walked away. I picked up my phone and loaded Twitter up. I opened up a new tweet and started typing.

'I am sad to say that we have parted ways with Mitch, he will be missed, but I hope he can get another managing job with a different band.' I tweeted it and put my phone back down.

"Alright, I'm here." I heard Alex say. I looked over and smiled. I stood up and walked over to him, kissing his lips softly.

"I love you, Alex." I said.

"I love you too." He said. We both left the bus and walked into the venue, hands clasped together. We met Matt there and he handed me my in ears. I put them on and smiled at him in thanks.

"Alright, since your pregnant, take it easy. I don't want you to strain yourself, and I don't want to end up in the hospital tonight sitting next your bed." He said. I nodded.

"So, no running around stage and belting out screams?" I asked.

"Yep. Don't do either of those things. Just stand behind the microphone. You can walk, but don't do it quickly. If you need anything, wave me over and I'll get you anything." Matt said.

"Alright." I said. The rest of my band showed up, and they all got ready. When it was one minute before we had to go on, Alex brought me into a light hug.

"You'll do great baby, I promise. Good luck, I love you." He said.

"I love you too, Lex." I said softly before pressing a chaste kiss to his lips and leaving his embrace. I walked onstage, instead of running onstage, but I had a smile on my face anyway. I reached the microphone and waited a minute before saying anything.

"How is everyone doing tonight?" I asked. The crowd cheered.

"That's great. Now, I'm sure you all heard or saw what happened a few days ago, and I assure you, that I am fine. I just won't be running around stage for a while, due to something you'll find out about after All Time Low's set." I said.

After the show, I walked offstage and into Alex's arms, who kissed my forehead.

"That was fantastic, hun!" He exclaimed.

"Thank you." I said with a smile, and I removed my in ears. Alex was handed his guitar after his in ears, and he ran out on stage after Jack.

After the show, Alex was the only one left onstage. He called me over after handing his guitar to Danny, and I walked back out, taking his hand when I approached.

"So, announcement!" Alex said, and the crowd screamed.

"Just recently, we both found out some shocking and rather happy news." Alex said. I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled.

"Would you guys like to know?" He asked. He looked at me and smiled as the crowd screamed even louder. I took the microphone from Alex and brought it up to my lips.

"The reason I couldn't run around on stage tonight, is because I'm pregnant." I finished, and the crowd was silent before erupting into screams louder than all the other times they screamed. I handed the microphone back to Alex.

"There's also something else." He said. I looked up at him and scrunched my eyebrows together.

"There is?" I asked. Alex looked at me and nodded. He turned me to face him and dug a hand in his front pocket and leaving it there.

"Delilah, I know that you know that I love you, and I'd hate it off we were ever apart for even a second. I love you, and I want to spend every waking moment with you, whether it be good or bad, I want to spend it with you. Forever. So, Delilah Marie Gray, will you marry me?" Alex asked as he slowly got down on one knee. He pulled his hand out of his pocket, revealing a gorgeous engagement ring. I covered my mouth with my hands as tears formed and fell. I stood like that for about thirty seconds before I collapsed to my knees, and I wrapped my arms tightly around Alex's neck as I sobbed a 'yes' into his ear. After a minute, I pulled away and smiled a weak smile at him.

"A thousand times yes." I said before pressing my lips to his, causing the crowd to go ballistic. Alex pulled away to put the band on my left ring finger, and he kissed me once more before standing up and pulling me to my feet. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. Alex pulled me close to him and rocked us back and forth. I pulled away once again only to see Alex with a huge smile and tears running down his cheeks.

"Thank you, Florida, for being amazing tonight. Goodnight!" Alex said into the mic before escorting me offstage.
