For Baltimore (Part Two)

*Two Weeks Later*

The invitations had been sent out, everything was ordered and approved, but the only thing that was left was getting the dresses. My band flew out last week, and they've been staying with us for a week so far. I had told them all about the miscarriage, but told them not to feel bad for Alex and I, and they respected my request.

"Delilah, you ready to go!?" Sami called from the living room as I finished up my makeup.

"Yeah just give me a sec!" I called back as I put everything away. I sauntered into the living room, slipping on a pair of flip flops on my way.

"About time! We're meeting up with Cassadee?" Sami asked.

"Yes. My mom and my cousin, hopefully, are gonna fly out in August, but I got their dress sizes last week, so let's go." I said. She nodded, and we left. We met up with Cass at the bridal shop, and we all walked inside. A woman looked over at the sound of the bell ringing above our heads, and she strode over, a smile on her face.

"May I help you?" She asked.

"Yes.. we're looking for three bridesmaids dresses along with the wedding dress itself." I said.

"Ah okay. And you're the bride, I presume?" She asked, to which I nodded.

"Perfect! Follow me!" She said. We followed her into a room with its own dressing room. We were lucky the store wasn't packed with people.

After about two hours of dress shopping and a lot of money later, we left the store with dresses in hand. I asked Cassadee to take them with her, and she gladly did so. Sami and I returned back home with giant smiles on our faces. The guys were there, which was somewhat of a surprise.

"Delilah, the mail came!" Alex called. I walked into the kitchen and took the stack from him, and I flicked through it.

"Most of these are invitations." I muttered. Alex was looking over my shoulder. I set all the mail that wasn't an invitation on the counter, and I sat at the kitchen table next to Zack. Alex took the spot next to me, and I proceeded to open all the invitations I had gotten back. After I had read them all, I looked up.

"Jack... you're bringing a date?" I asked the man seated across from me. He only nodded.

"Why didn't you put her name on here?" I asked.

"Because... I haven't exactly asked her to be my date yet." He replied. I rolled my eyes and stacked them all neatly.

"Well, ask her soon." I said. I stood up and set the invitations on the counter.

"FUCK!" I yelled as I turned around. I had gotten everyone's attention, that's for sure.

"What is it?" Alex asked.

"We forgot about a band and a caterer. How could I forget!?" I asked as I tugged on my hair. Alex stood slowly.

"You do realize that there are two bands in this house, right?" Jack asked.

"Yes! But neither Alex or I can perform at our own wedding!" I cried out.

"Have you forgotten that I can sing?" Sami asked. I looked up at her.

"Oh.. I forgot.. could you guys perform without me?" I asked my band. They all nodded.

"Oh God. You guys are life savers." I said.

"But what about a caterer?" Alex asked.

"Call Miss Stephanie and ask if she can get us one.. but nothing that involves seafood because I don't like it." I replied. Alex nodded and pulled his phone and wallet out of his pocket. He found her phone number and quickly dialed it, holding his phone up to his ear. After ten minutes of conversation, Alex hung up.

"She's got it covered." He said. I smiled and attacked him in a hug, kissing him fiercely but quickly.
