It's just a dare. How bad can it be?

Alex's P.O.V.

I was with Rian, smoking some weed & getting high like we usually did in the basement when we hung out. We had been telling the cheesiest jokes & silliest puns. I don't know why but I wasn't having as much fun as I think Rian was. The only thing on my mind the entire time was Jack. I was wondering what he was doing with Brendon. .what they were talking about...if they were getting drunk again....dammit, I don't think Jack can control himself when he's drunk. What if they're making out right now? Fuck. I shouldn't have let him go. I got my phone out & called him.

"Babe, hey. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Everything good over there?" I spoke into the phone. I heard laughing in the background & loud munching. I could hear more than just Brendon's voice but couldn't figure out who's the other was. What is this, a fucking orgy? Ugh.

"Yea, everything's good lex. Zack came over too, we're watching some movies right now. How's it going at Rian's place?" Jack asked. I felt relieved that his best friend was there. At least now, I don't have to worry about any weird, kinky ass orgy's going on.

"I'm having a good time. Rian's to high to handle right now." Jack & I both laughed a bit.

"Alright lex, I gotta go, I'm missing the movie." Jack whispered.

"Okay, I love you Jacky." I spoke. I waited for a response, there was a pause for a while & all I could hear was the laughs in the background & the noises of the TV.

"...I love you too, lex." Jack said, as he hung up the phone almost immediately. I was a little confused. But I just shrugged it off & went back to smoking. We only took a few more hits before we ran out of weed.

After a few hours Rian & I weren't high anymore & so we got out from the basement & into the living room where his mom was.

"Hey boys, finally done? Your Dad's getting a little angry, Rian." Rian's mom spoke, very kindly. She didn't mind that we smoked inside the house, just as long as we had the basement door closed. Rian's dad though...he really didn't like it.

"We're done. We're gonna go out, we'll be back at around 7." Rian spoke. I didn't even know we were going anywhere.

"Alright, hun. Have fun & be safe." Rian's mom said.

We left out the door & began walking, I guess we weren't going anywhere far.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To stalk your cute ass boyfriend." Rian said, laughing.

"What the fuck are you talking about? No. We're not doing that." I said.

"Alex, don't act like you're not dying to know what he's doing. C'mon I've seen you look at your phone every 25 minutes. Probably holding back from calling him, or expecting a text, hu?" Rian asked. I didn't say anything only because he was right.

"You shouldn't be getting attached. This is just a bet. Remember?" Rian said. Why do I keep forgetting about that? Fuck, man.

"I know it is...I'm just really committed to my bet." I replied.

"So committed that I bet you won't go through with it." Rian burst out laughing. I was mad, I just didn't say anything. Rian's such a dick.

"So, anyway. Let's go to Brendon's I know where he lives from last time." Rian said. I just followed. It didn't take long to get there, actually. It was just three blocks away, & we walked quickly. We heard some music from the backyard & some splashes.

"Looks like they're having a little pool party." Rian whispered, we were hiding behind a small bush right next to the gate to the backyard. Brendon was swiming in his black underwear, Zack in his shorts, & my little Jack in some shorts as well. He looked hot, walking around wet like that. Then he screamed something.

"Catch me, Brendon!" Jack yelled, running & jumping into Brendon's arms. He knocked down Brendon & they fell into the pool, creating a big splash.

"Aye, I want a turn!" Zack yelled. Jack got out of the pool & Zack got on his back, kind of like a piggy back ride, but instead they jumped into the pool.

They were all in the pool now & started playing Marco polo. Jack was the on covering his eyes. They went on & on, then Jack found Brendon. He put his hands on Brendons shoulders.

"Brendon!" Jack yelled, laughing. They all split ways & started the whole thing again.

"I think we've seen enough." Rian said, now walking away. I walked after him & followed.

"There, now you know he's just touching Brendon in the water." Rian spoke. I was actually really jealous though. I never see Jack have fun like that when he's with me. He was laughing so much, I never get to make him laugh. Just occasionally. Am I too boring for him? Is Brendon better for him than I am? He looks so happy. He could leave me for Brendon anytime he wants. Brendon's so much better than I am. Dammit....I've never felt this way before....I've never felt below someone or Jealous, or in love, or replaced, or anything. Why is this all happening now? it's not fair.
