It's just a dare. How bad can it be?

Alex's P.O.V.

After the concert, Jack & I headed home & we ate a nice, simple dinner. We were too tired from the concert so we didn't fuck or anything. I have to say, this was the best Valentines day ever. And that's not just because I actually have a boyfriend for the first time. We have school tomorrow & I'm seriously not looking forward to it.

Alex's P.O.V.

*Monday, school.*

My alarm went off & I groaned, getting up to shut it off. I pulled on my jeans & slipped on a white shirt & my red jacket. I topped it all off with a beanie & my black vans. Now I just need to wake up Jack.

"Babe, we got school. C'mon, wake up, love."

"mmmuhghh..." Jack let out some weird noise but I kept trying.

"Jackyyyyy, we have school. Don't make me throw water on you." I spoke. I obviously wasn't serious though, I mean that would just make my bed wet & he'd take longer to get ready.

"Lex, I can't. I'm too tired" Jack groaned.

"Fine." I said, walking over to my bathroom & taking out a container filled with hair gel. I walked over back to Jack & opened the container, grabbed a handful of gel & slapped it in Jacks face.

"Lex, what the hell is that?!" Jack yelled, jumping out of bed.

"Just a little something to wake you up. Now hurry & get ready babe." I said laughing, then proceeding to give Jack a kiss on the cheek.

"Fuck you." Jack laughed & kissed me back.

We ate breakfast, finished getting ready & got in my car. It wasn't long before we were finally in school, taking our seats in the boring classroom & listening to the teacher go on & on about nothing I cared about.

The class was over & it was time for second period. Everything seemed to be going so slow today. The minutes were passing by slowly, making it seem like hours, & waiting for the bell to ring seemed like waiting for a turtle trying to get across the room. I couldn't wait to get out of here. I just want to see Jack in fourth period so I can see his smile, his big nose, his gorgeous dark chocolate brown eyes, & those tempting lips of his.


I was finally in fourth period & I took a seat next to Jack. The teacher didn't seem to mind & the kid that sat there, happily moved for me. The whole class Jack & I helped each other with the math & held each others hand. We passed a few kisses here & there too. The bell rang & Jack headed for his class, us splitting ways, him seeing Brendon in his next period. Ugh. I know I shouldn't worry but it just really bothers me. Brendon's way better looking than I am...He could easily have Jack. I was snapped out of my thoughts & put back to reality when Rian came over to me.

"Hey, you & your boy are pretty lovey-dovey. Just remember, bud, it won't last too long." Rian spoke laughing. He was really starting to get on my nerves.

"Can't you just leave me alone?" I snapped back.

"Woah, Alex. What's up man? You barley talk to me now that you're with him. And now you're mad at me too?"

I didn't say anything. I just kept on walking.

"Let's kick it today at my house? We can get high." Rian teased. We used to do that a lot. Rian's my best friend. He just isn't a good person.

"Ri-"

"C'mon. I miss my bro." Rian spoke, making a pouty face.

"Fine. I'll go, just let me tell Jack." I replied, laughing. I guess some time with Rian won't hurt. I have been leaving him out since Jack & I started dating. Besides, I can see Jack every other day & hang out with him tomorrow.

The period passed by quick, actually, since Rian & I were talking the entire time. FIFTH PERIOD IS NEXT. Thank god. Music is literally the best class. I ran in & started writing down some things, a few ideas that had been roaming in my head earlier needed to be released. I wrote down some lyrics but I was interrupted by the teachers voice.

"Alright, I hope all of you have been practicing like you should be, by the end of next week I want all of you to have something original prepared to play, or sing for the class. This is for a grade, so don't screw it up & do your best!"

Everyone went back to doing their thing. I saw Jack playing his guitar & Brendon sitting down in a chair next to him. Why does he always have to be around Jack, dammit.

Brendon started singing, probably a song that he wrote. I have to admit, he's really talented. His lyrics seem better than mine...he looks better, he is better...I don't know how Jack hasn't left me for him yet. I saw them talking, Jack getting comfortable & setting his guitar down. Then I saw Jack motion to me & Brendon looked over. I was a little confused. Why are they talking about me? They laughed a bit, & I was starting to feel a little self-conscious. I saw both Jack & Brendon getting up & walking over to me.

"Babe, Brendon want's me to hang out with him today, you okay with me going to his house? We can hang out tomorrow, yea?" Jack asked me. I was gonna say a straight up 'hell no!' but that wouldn't be right. They're just friends...I'm hanging out with Rian today anyway.

"Oh, yea, yea. Don't worry about it babe. I'm hanging out with Rian today anyway. I need some bro time, y'know?" I answered.

"Thanks, Lex. I love you." Jack spoke, leaning down to kiss me. I kissed him back & got back to writing.

"Thanks man." Brendon said, I simply mumbled a 'no problem.' not looking up from my journal. They both walked back to doing their thing & I went over the song I had been writing before the bell rang.

Well, anyway. Here's a late update! c: Sorry of the chapter is boring. I kind of feel like Jack's P.O.V.'s are better cx don't you think?
