Jack's p.o.v

I walked through the school halls with a big grin on my face. It was my second year teaching here, and I was very excited about it; I loved my job. Since I was a kid, my dream was to be an English teacher in some cool school. I had another dream too, but lets not talk about it.

"Mr. Barakat!" The principal, Philip, said to me. "I'm glad to see you again this year. I notice you're very enthusiastic about it!" I nodded, the grin never leaving my face.

"I need to go and see which classroom I have this year, if you exc-"

"You have the same as last year! I remembered how much you liked that classroom, and how you managed to decorate it nicely, so I decided to give you the same one." The Principal smiled at me. "I have to leave, Mr. Barakat, but... See you soon?" I nodded, again, and he left.

Walking to my classroom, I realised everybody ha already begun their lessons, so I decided to hurry up. I opened the doors to my class and found a lot of kids sleeping on their desks, others talking, and others simply waiting.

"I'm sorry for being late, I had to talk some things with the Principal." I started. "Well, good morning! I'm Mr. Barakat, but you can call me Mr. B. I'd love if you could call me by my name, but the school doesn't allow that so... Mr. B it's okay. Some of you know me because of your big brothers, others because we saw in the halls and stuff. " and with that, I started giving the rules they should follow to pass my class.

It was lunch time and the cantine was a mess. Everybody was talking, no, shouting to each other. Why couldn't they talk normally? I decided to, instead of having lunch in there, go to the backyard of the school and have a nice and peaceful time.

When I got there, I decided to sit in my usual spot. I was walking to it when I saw two boys and two girls sitting there. I frowned my eyebrows and started to walk away, when I heard someone talk to me.

"Hey, Mr. B! Wanna come and sit here with us?" A black haired girl I was sure was in my last period before lunch said. I think her name was Taylor? I couldn't remember.

"Yeah, come here Mr. Barakat! We have an empty spot next to Alex." The blonde said. The boy, who's name apparently was Alex, opened his eyes at the mention of his name and turned around to see me. He was wearing a Blink 182 t-shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans. His eyes were a caramel colour, and... I snapped my self mentally.

"Um... I don't have any problem. But, won't it be uncomfortable for you? I mean... I'm your teacher." I said.

The girls laughed. "If we had a problem, we wouldn't invite you!" The blonde said, smirking at me.

I shrugged and decided to sit down. It was better than stay alone the whole lunch period, right?

"I'm sure I already had you in mi class. " I said, pointing at the black haired girl. "But you three... No."

"I'm Lisa, Tay's friend." The blonde said. "This is Zack, and the one next to you is Alex. You already had me in your class, second period?"

"Oh, yes! I'm sorry I forgot. And when do I have you guys?" I asked at Alex and Zack.

"Now." Alex said, smiling. I returned him the smile and started eating, when I realised Alex wasn't eating. "Where's your food?"

"He's an idiot and he forgot it at his house." Lisa said.

"Zack offered him his food but he said he was okay, that he isn't hungry. I think he's lying." Tay added.

"I'm not lying!" Alex exclaimed, opening his eyes widely.

"Yes you are." Lisa said, teasingly.

I thought for a moment. "Give me one second." I ran to the cantine and asked for a plate, a knife and a fork. I came back to the yard and put some of my food in the plate. "Here." I said, giving it to him. "If you don't eat, you're going to get ill."

Alex blushed, and for one moment I thought it was cute. "Thank you... B-but, won't you eat?"

"It's too much food for one person. I'm serious, have it." I smiled at him.

"Thank you." He said, blushing again, and smiling at me. I smiled him back. I turned to continue eating, when I saw Zack glaring at me. I send him a grin, but he ignored it, turning his head to talk to Lisa.

Hey. Um, in my school we can eat with the teachers, that's why I made this...? I don't know how things work in the usa/uk. *sighs*
