"I can't do this..." She sighed keeping her head down as she took a step away from him, a step away from everything they were and everything they had become in those short few weeks.
"Why not?" the boy pleaded reaching out and grabbing her arm causing her emerald eyes to lock on his, "WHY?"
" 'Cause you're leaving!" She told him bitterly as her eyes nipped red. "If not now then when your tour starts, THIS WAS NEVER FOREVER!"
The simple collection of letters and sounds that reminded him of the statement's truth, and the thought that broke his fragile heart that one summer.
