Long Live Us

*Alex pov*

The following days marked the start of exam season. This was obviously the most stressful time in the year for most people, Alex included, and that's exactly what he was doing in the physics lesson he was currently sitting in. It didn't help him either, that Jack was as cool as a cucumber and looked more relaxed than he would on holiday. The dark haired boy was leant back in his chair, arms crossed over his chest, his fringe flopping in his face, and his paper pad open in front of him, his pen discarded next to it on the desk. In contrast, Alex couldn't get any closer to his desk, his paper spewing out everywhere, his hand desperately gripped to the pen as he tried to keep up with the revision Mr Wilkinson was going over.
'What am I doing?' The brunette asked himself again, scanning over his work again before letting out an exasperated sigh and dropping his pen, leaning back and adopting a similar position to Jack.
"Chill out Alex." The younger boy said to him, stifling a yawn as he repositioned his fringe before looking at the brunette.
"Easier said than done." He retorted, keeping his gaze firmly locked on the young teacher who was explaining the concept again to one of the other tables.
"Grumpy pants." Muttered Jack in reply, before he too sighed and picked up his bag on the floor and started rummaging through it. Alex gave up on concentrating, the throbbing by his temples getting to him, and switched his gaze to watch his boyfriend. It only took a moment or two before Jack's head came back out of his back, a frown on his features, like he had lost something.
"What's up?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow as the younger boy stared at the desk, chewing his lip, evidently trying to remember where he had placed this lost item.
"I thought I had gum." The dark haired boy responded, shrugging and scrunching up his face. Alex chuckled at him, finding it adorable about how upset he was over a packet of chewing gum. Jack pouted at him, before a spark flashed through his eyes and he leaned closer to Alex, positioning himself to whisper in his ear.
"It's fine I'll just be having some of your gums later." He said in a suggestive tone, letting out a hot breath over the side of the brunettes face before leaning back into his seat, biting his lip slightly to try and keep a straight face. Alex stared blankly at him for a moment, trying to process what he said and think of a suitable response. When that failed, he just shook his head and faced the front once more, wondering how on earth he had befriended a boy like Jack.

"Leexxxx stop revising for like, thirty seconds, you have a needy boyfriend!" Jack whined for the millionth time from where he sat on the other side of the room.
"Shut up, I'm trying to concentrate." He growled in return, shooting him a glare before returning to the textbook, reading over the words and trying to take in all the labels on the diagram. The pair had been working for a few hours - although that mainly consisted of Alex working and Jack trying his hardest to focus on anything other than the brunette as not too distract him. That, however, wasn't really working.
"What are you trying to learn?" Jack queried, setting his phone on the desk.
"The heart." It took a minute for Jack's next response, his voice now much more excited and happy.
"Hey! I've got an idea. I'm gonna teach you." Alex raised an eyebrow and shot him a questioning look. "Take your shirt off."
Alex scowled and rolled his eyes, huffing loudly and looking back down at the textbook.
"No Lex trust me."
"I'm gonna be so fucking annoyed if you're taking the piss Jack." The brunette warned, moving the text book to the side and sitting looking a Jack. The dark haired boy just grinned and crawled over, tugging at the fabric Alex was wearing to remove it. The taller boy then pushed them down, so the brunette was flat on his back with Jack hovering over him.
"For fucks sake Ja-"
"Shhhh you have to listen." The younger cut Alex off, before moving himself so he had a leg either side of Alex's hips, and was over his bare torso.
"The heart is made out of four sections, the two atria, and the two ventricles." Jack drew a faint line with his finger, showing that his chest was the atrium and his stomach was the ventricles, split down the middle. The feathery touch grabbed the brunettes attention, his ears perking up and he sat up slightly to watch.
"The left ventricle," Jack continued, placing his face over the left of Alex's stomach, "has thick muscular walls, as it has to pump the blood further." His nose ran along the prominent hip bone, sending shivers down Alex's spine.
"Now, would you like to know how the box in your chest beats?" Jack questioned, putting on a low voice and looking up and Alex through his eyelashes. When the brunette nodded eagerly, his lust blown eyes wide, the younger smirked and moved up to Alex's nipple.
"The wave of excitation starts at the sanatrial node," he began, flicking his tongue over the nipple, causing Alex to bite his lip to suppress a moan. "and the wave travels over the walls of the atria, causing contraction." Jack ran his tongue along the boys chest and paused just above his belly button, "where it is then delayed at the atrioventricular node, to allow the ventricles to fill up." he ran his fingers down from Alex's nipples to his hip bones, planting soft kisses around his belly button - something the brunette found strangely arousing.
"Before continuing down the Purkyne Tissue," which was demonstrated by running his mouth ghostly over his happy trial, pausing momentarily above his hardening dick (something he was not thankful for) before moving back round to his left hipbone.
"Then it reaches the ventricles, and causing the contraction, pushing the blood up and out." He nipped at the bone, resulting in a yelp emitting from the elder boy, before Jack ran his face up his body and reaching his face, hovering over him.
"Did that help?" He purred, his seductive voice still on, one eyebrow raised and a smirk gracing his lips.
"Do it again with your glasses on, Mr Barakat." Alex replied, raising one of his own eyebrows and biting his lip slightly.
"You'll get yourself in trouble, Alexander." The younger replied, pressing hips down slightly, teasing them both with the little friction.
"Then you'll have to teach me a lesson, won't you sir?"
"Oh I will." He grabbed his glasses and slipped them on, Alex instantly groaning in frustrating at the sight, every inch of his body wanting to be with every inch of Jack's body. The revision session had taken an unexpected turn, but neither boy was complaining.

The following day was the dreaded day of the biology exam. The three classes were collectively mulling around outside the exam room, chattering to one another. Most of it was nervous energy being burnt off, some was last minute revision, and the rest was pure panic. Alex fell into the last category, pacing up and down nervously, chewing furiously at his lip and keeping an extremely tight grip on his pencil case. Jack and Rian were standing where Alex had started his pacing, the taller boy as cool as a cucumber, the other beginning to show signs of worry. Jack had his long fingers clasped around Alex's water bottle after removing the label for the elder after he got frustrated. Jack found it kinda cute, Alex, however, was hating the way his brain was buzzing and blood was boiling, nervous energy buzzing around his body.
"Right, AS biology downstairs in room 64." Their deputy announced from where he was leaning on the railing outside the building, holding the piece of paper.
'This is it oh my god.' Alex told himself, scuttling back to Jack.
"Lex relax, you'll do fine, I promise." The taller boy muttered, planting a soft and discrete kiss in his brunette locks. Alex just nodded, chewing on his lip again and taking his water bottle.
"And remember, don't trust an atom. They make up everything!" The teacher said with a grin, receiving a few nervous and slightly awkward laughs.
"Why does he make stupid arse jokes I'm freaking out for fucks sake." Alex muttered to himself, keeping close to Jack as they entered the exam room.
The desks were laid out in rows, a small slip of paper with each candidates name, number and exam on it, indicating where they would be sitting. As the students deposited of their bags in the cupboard, Jack whispered 'remember what I taught you', causing a small amount of nerves to ebb away as a smirk at the memory came onto Alex's face.
After scanning the desks the boy found his seat, and plopped himself down in the chair, smiling when he saw Jack was in the row on his right, two seats in front. The invigilators handed out the papers and droned on in the same usual manner about the rules and regulations, before the exam finally began.
Alex took a deep breath and flipped over the first page, happy to see the first question consisted of a few two markers. He jotted down his answers, biting the tip of his pen when reading the rest of the question. Relaxing as the time went on, the brunette was content with how it was going, more than happy with his time management, and the questions weren't too bad.
Flipping over too question six, the eight mark question, a grin spread across his features, and he looked up to see Jack discretely looking at him with the same look on his own face.
'Describe and Explain how the heart beat is co-ordinated.'
Alex had to bite his lip to stop himself making some sort of noise; whether it be of delight or a moan at the memory, as he started writing his answer. His mind flooded with the look in Jack's eyes and the way his hair fell, his low voice explaining the beating in both of their chests. By the end of the question the brunette was almost having a problem downstairs, desperately flicking the page over to finish the exam and preoccupy his mind away from Jack once more. Despite this, he was actually thankful for the younger boys' teaching method, as it certainly did help.
The rest of the time ticked over and the exam finished, Alex glad a weight was off his shoulder, and was now waiting to be back at his house curled up with the raven haired boy on their sofa. A smirk graced his lips as he admired the back of the boy; his tall shoulders hunched over the desk, and the way his legs were stretched out in front of him because they were too long to be kept under the desk. Something about his lankiness was becoming ridiculously hot to Alex, and the brunette knew that one day he would know every inch of the long, thin body. Jack must've felt Alex watching him, as he turned around and locked gazes with the older boy, shooting him a wink and a goofy grin when Alex mouthed: 'Maybe I need to be taught again. Just one more lesson.'

yay i finally updated! sorry this took a while ive been really busy and want to finish writing the rest of the story so i can update the last chapters regularly.
another horse stood on my foot on wednesday though, felt i should share that :')
erm, the biology in this is like, true and stuff, i wrote it whilst i was revising haha so i guess i hope its not too complicated??
