I Need Therapy -Jack Barakat-

I stared outside the window of my room. It was my 25th birthday today and my mom was forcing me to go to a concert in Portland. I honestly didn't want to, she wouldn't tell me the name either... I just wanted to stay inside and cry. I wanted to spend my birthday with the guys, I haven't seen them in 11 years. They probably forgot about me, well maybe not Rian, he has pictures of us everywhere in his house.
"Makenzi, honey, it's time to go" My mom peeked in my room.
I groaned and looked in the mirror last time before walking to the car.
"Who is his band anyway?" I looked at my mom
"They're called All Time Low"
"Are they like another version of One Direction?" I complained
"No, they're a mix between Blink-182 and Green Day, I guess you could say"
"I guess that's good..."

I never spoke the entire way to the venue. We parked close to back stage and started walking towards the entry.
"Tickets?" Wow. The security was so enthusiastic...
My mom handed the man the tickets as we walked in side.
"There's a reserved spot for you two inside, enjoy the show"
We walked inside and it was full of fangirls screaming and drinking water with bras... My mom pulled me inside and went to the very front where it said 'Reserved' I showed my I.D. to the security guard and he lifted the sign away.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Please enter and find your seat or General Admission Unit. Because this is going to be fucking awesome" The announcer spoke. I laughed as the light dimmed and teenagers scurried in like mice.
I saw four figures run on stage, I couldn't see their features since it was dark.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome All Time Low!"
I screamed just for the fun of it. But then the light came on and I recognised them instantly.
Zack. Rian. Jack. Alex. All lined up and staring at the audience. I started shouting to get them to notice me.
"Jack! Rian! Guys!" I waved my arms in many different directions.
I then saw Zack point me out to the guys. Alex ran to the microphone.
"Tonight is going to be a very special night, because we have a friend here with us, her name is Makenzi, but we call her Max or Maxi. She was one of our first friends, we met eleven years ago, and today is her birthday. We might also reveal some old pictures. Max get your ass up here!"
The crowd cheered as Alex pointed me out to the security guard. He tried lifting me but I just hopped over the gate and grabbed Alex's hand and he pulled me up and into a hug.
"I missed you, Maxi..."
"I missed you too, Alex" he playfully pushed me away and I ran to Zack
"Max!"
"Zack!" He gave me a twirl hug and lifted me high in the air but set me down carefully.
Jack got to me before I could even think and reenacted our first picture together. He kissed my cheek and I pulled him close while he held my back. The crowd 'aww'ed and I blushed deeply, my mom would never approve. I looked back saw she was gone. Must've left.
"I missed you more than all of them..."
"I still have our picture in my wallet..." I told him as he, also playfully shoved me away. And I ran to the other side of the stage to hug my big brother, Rian.
"Aww, they we're always the closest" Alex smirked and I took the microphone from him.
"No shit, Sherlock. I've known Rian since I was two" I handed it back to him
"Whatever, do you mind if we show off our pictures then reenact them?"
"Jack already did over there..."
"Oh yea! Your first picture he kissed you on the cheek!" The crowd giggled
First up was Zack and he lifted me bridal style, once again I was hanging on for dear life. A guy came out and took our picture.
Then Alex and I sat down like we did eleven years ago, arms around eachother, smiling wide.
Then Rian, I got on his back and did the same stupid pose.
And then finally the one the guys have been waiting for.
"Y'all are gonna tweet this aren't ya?" I said into a microphone
In response the crowd cheered loudly.
"Ready?" Jack smirked and pulled me in.
He kissed my cheek, again, I smiled, again, and he held my back, again. Another picture was taken.
"How fucking adorable... Makes me sick" Alex murmered into the microphone and laughed
"Aww, is Alex jealous?" Said Jack
"No, I have Flyzik for that!"
"So guys, before we play any songs, isn't there something you want to tell Maxi, here?" Zack spoke
"Yes, Max" Jack got down on one knee. What the fuck?
He pulled out a Ring Pop, oh god...
"Makenzi, will you go on tour with us?"
The crowd cheered
"Oh, of course I will!" He stood up and hug me, well it turned into one great big hug with everyone.
"All right, for the first song tonight, I want to play Somewhere In Neverland, because we didn't know where the fuck you were, Portland, you guys are in the middle of nowhere!"
I was led off stage and watched the set go on. With occasional looks from Jack.

About halfway through the show I got a text from my mom...
'How dare you...'
What?
'What do you mean "How dare I" ??'
'I'm looking through your letters and you got one from a therapist!'
'You're looking through my stuff?!'
'I'm your mother! I have a right to!'
'And I'm an adult, I have a right to PRIVACY! Ever heard of it?'
'You, my daughter, you had a therapist?!'
I did'nt respond after that, I just wanted to enjoy the show.
"Alright, Portland, you guys are some crazy motherfucker! Sadly we have to go... So, here's my guitar pick, and here's Jack's shirt!"
Alex ripped off Jack's BONER shirt and threw it into the crowd
"Dude that was my only shirt!" He yelled
"Don't worry, Maxi has the same one!"
He nodded and gave me a thumbs up. I blushed and shook my head.
"Aww, Maxi, you don't want to share?"
I laughed and I shook my head.
"Fine, biatch!" He flipped me off and Rian started doing the last drum solo of the night.
"Goodnight, Portland!"
The light went down and four sweaty guys came running towards me
"Don't hug me or else I'll kick you all in your vaginas!"
"What?"Alex stopped right infront of me and cocked his head
"Go take a shower then we can be all happy and stuff!"
"Nope!" They lunged toward me and grabbed me, laughing.
"Ewww! Guys!"
Like I promised, I kicked them all in the man-ginas
"The fuck, Max?" Jack said as he was on his knees in pain
"I told you I would!"
"I'm sorry, Max" Some guy said behind me
turned my heel and there stood some guys with black earrings and stunning eyes.
"It's okay, random dude"
I smiled and stuck my hand up for a high five
"I'm Matt Flyzik, tour manager for these idiots" He pointed to the guys, still recovering from the kick
"Oh, Hi!"
"Makenzi, that hurt like a motherfucker!" Alex rubbed his... area, and squinted.
"Sorry, not really..."
They had a meet and greet so Matt took me to the bus and said another band would be here to watch over me. I started doing random shit on their bus, making top ramen, braiding my hair, deleting my mom from my contacts and blocking her, also looking at all the pictures Rian had of us.
There was a knock at the door "Hello, Makenzi, you in there?"
I had noodles in my mouth so I sounded stupid...
"Yea, but if you guys aren't the band and just a bunch of creeps I will pour my top ramen on you!"
I heard and bunch of laughter and four good looking guys walked onto the bus.
"Hey, you must be Makenzi" The one with the really poofy hair said...
"Well, no shit..." I took another bite of my food and burbed loudly.
"Well, aren't you a lovely lady!" this guy had a lip ring and Harry Potter tattoos
"Anything but, my friend!" I set the bowl down and stood up to introduce myself. The one with no visible tattoos and beany was extremely short.
"Aww, you're short, it's so cute!" I jumped up and down like a little girl
"Yea, yea, a 30 year old dude who's the height of most teenage girls..."
"Yea, well tell me your name shorty" I giggled and pushed his arm.
"I'm Vic" He stuck his hand out. Again with the handshakes!
"I don't do handshakes" I said as I gave him a high five
"And call me Max or Maxi"
He nodded as the furry boy came up to me
"I'm going to call you furball!"
"Fuck, everyone does that!" He laughed
"I'm Jaime"
"Oh, creative, and I'm the devil's spawn" I grinned and he toppled over
"Uhh, is he going to be okay, I mean I could call an ambulance and ambulances aren't that scary, I had a seizure and the scariest thing was the IV poking me everytime we hit a bump"
"He'll be fine, I'm Tony" I gave him a high five but then grabbed his hand
"Dude, Star Wars tattoos!"
"You like Star Wars?"
"I've seen a few of the movies, I'm more of a Pirates of the Caribbean type of girl" He smirked and check on Jaime who had fully recovered from my joke.
"And finally, last but least" I joked "We have mister lip ring!"
"Don't hate! You have one too!" He went to poke it
"Touch it, and I'll rip yours out..."
"Great impression and I'm Mike"
"Hi"
I went back to my noodles which hadn't cooled down and, what a surprise, I burned my lip
"Son of a fuck!"
I laughed until my stomach hurt and looked at Jaime
"What?"
"Nothin' "
"Whatever, Fuzzy"
"What to do..." Tony tapped his fingers on the table
"No, idea... I'm always awkward around people. I'm more of an internet type of person" I say as I took out my phone.
"I see that" Mike giggled
"Hey, do you want to go down the ice cream shop down the road?" Vic pointed in a random direction.
"Can we?" I jumped from my seat and started shaking Tony
"Please!"
"Okay, okay!" He flashed me his famoused smiled and my eyes lit up like fire
"Thank you!" I planted multiple kisses on his cheek
"Hey, I came up with the idea!" Vic complained and made his puppy dog eyes
"True. But Tony's closer!" I put one more giant kiss on his cheek
"Tony can pass it on to you, if you want" I smirked
"Nah, I'd rather get it from you" He winked
"Being flirty, are we?" I sat up straight
"Only if it's working"
I chuckled and grabbed my coat
"Well..." I stroked his cheek "It's not so you better stop right now and show me where that ice cream shop is" I poked his nose and watched as all the guys laughed and pointed at him
I jumped the steps and pulled out my phone
To: Big Brother
Hey I'm going out for ice cream with Tony, Mike, Vic, and Jaime. So don't panic if I'm not at the bus when you get there okay? Love you xx
I sent the message and stuck the phone back in my pocket.
"Ready?" Vic called
"Yup!" I skipped in a circle
"Well, aren't you jittery!" Jaime laughed
"I want my ice cream!"
"Okay fine. Follow us princess!"
I bowed and started walking along with the guys. Now don't think I wasn't going to walk the whole way, because I was. I just saw the perfect plan. I jumped on Tony's back.
"Whoa!" He laughed
"I got tired! Sorry if I'm too heavy"
"Heavy? You way almost nothing, we need to get that ice cream in you!"
I gigled and cuddled into his neck, might as well get comfortable, right?

"Maxi, wake up" I felt someone poke my cheek
"Five more minutes, dude..." I continued resting in the soft bed or couch I was in.
"We need you to wake up, Rian's coming over to pick you up and we don't want it to look like we wore you out. Plus we got you ice cream"
My eyes peeked open. Cookie dough ice cream, my favorite!
"We also got you Starbucks!"
"Ew, I love the cookie dough, but I honestly can't stand coffee, sorry"
They nodded and someone walked in, Rian.
"Hey, baby sister"
"Hi" I replied softly
"Tired?" He smiled
I nodded and took hold of my ice cream, and shiverred.
"Can I be carried?" I asked politely
"Of course" He lifted me off the sofa
"Bye guys..." My eyes dropped
"Bye Max" They all replied
My eyes shut, getting ready for a new day.
