Nine

I took Mina over to the other wing of the castle that used to be where I lived when I was her age. She was so excited to be seeing my playroom, she was trying to skip. It was so cute. When I came up to the door that had my initials still painted in a now faded pink color, I knew we were in the right place. I opened the door adn saw the room hadn't changed. In fact, it was kept clean and not a speck of dust or a cobweb took up residence in my old playroom.
"This is Mommy's old play haven Mina," I told my daughter. She took off running toward my play castle that held my dolls inside. She came out with one that was dressed like a ballerina.
"Can we take some these toys with us Mommy," she asked as she continued to explore the room.
"As long as Grandmother doesn't mind," I told her.
"I don't see a problem with your daughter taking some of your toys with her. They can be an early birthday present from me," Grandmother Lupei said as she hobbled into the room.
"You kept it clean Grandmother," I noticed that everything looked just like how I left it.
"Your father asked that I keep tis room maintained so when you visited for Christmas or if you brought your children, the room was ready to be played in. But you never came for Christmas, but you brought Mina and that makes me so happy Mirela. You have done so well with her," Grandmother always knew what to say. She was the greatest person in my family and Uncle Cosmin follows her example.
"Thank you Grandmother. Do you know what the reason was that she's named Cosmina," I asked her.
"After Cosmin of course, he had such an influence on you. He was good to you," she told me.
"She's also named after you. Grandfather named Uncle Cosmin after you since your middle name is Cosmina. Both you and Uncle Cosmin will live on through my daughter and she'll make the family very proud. More proud than she already is," I told her.

Alex and Lisa picked us up from the airport early the next mornign after we landed. When we all got home, Alex and Jack got the bags from the back, I got Mina from her car seat, and Lisa grabbed the diaper bag. My mom already had the door open for us all to file in.
"How was the trip to Lupei Castle," my mom asked.
"The castle was beautiful. I never knew that you were both from a noble family," Jack gushed to my mom.
"I only married into it. I was a lady's maid to Dorin's older sister, Alexanderina, when I met him," she explained.
"But Grandmother accepted her into the family since she was interested in shaking up to old traditions a little," I added.

I finished putting Mina to bed and putting all of her clothes away when Jack came in and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Want to go for a quick run. To show Alex that your our new member of the pack," he asked queitly into my ear.
"If Alex won't mind going for a run with us," I told him.

Notes

I'm back in business my darlings. I am very sorry for being away from this story. Due to a writer's block I have cured myself from, I am writing this story again. I was over thinking it and I've decided to stop drafting ahead. I will be transferring this practice to my other stories. The sequel for Don't Wanna Say Goodnight will be started once I have Long Live Us and Your Lost Boy in a happy comfort zone to get their updates pumped out. After that I will consider getting Do It For Me back up. But I'll be getting it running on my mibba though first since I have lot's of active stories here. I will transferring two new stories, She's Dancing Alone and I'll Paint You Wings, here much later in their storylines. God it feels great to be back in the groove again.
