I'll Keep A Secret If You Keep Me Guessing

The rest of the day was boring, but nothing bad happened... luckyly. The last time I talked to Alex was this morning, when I asked him why he cared about me he just shook his head and rushed out. Yep, he didn't care at all.

The bell rang, and I walked out of the classroom as quick as I could, when someone stopped me in the hall.

"Hey, are you okay?" I saw Rian was standing in front of me. His voice sounded a little concerned. "I mean, because of what happened this morning with Gaskarth. Did he do something to you?" I shook my head, and was about to ask him 'why would Alex do something to me?' when I remembered how mean he was to Rian today.

"T-the real qu-uestion is... is if you-u are o-okay?" I asked him shyly. He locked his eyes with mine and send me a toothy smile, nodding.

He gestured to the doors with his head. "Do you want to go outside to talk? Maybe we could get to know each other better." I nodded again. It would be cool to have another friend.

We sat at a bench in front of the school. "Do you mind sitting here?" he asked. "My mom has to pick me up here, sorry if it annoyes you. You can leave if you want to." I shooked my head, and he smiled again. "Favorite band?"

"B-blink 182 and Gre-een day."

He opened his eyes widely, and then chuckled a bit. "Wow! Mine too! I can't believe someone else likes them!" He seemed so happy about it.

Rian was about to ask me something else, when someone shouting stopped him completely. "JACK! JACK, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I turned my head around to find myself facing Alex Gaskarth.

"I-i'm ta-alking to-o Rian..." I answered shyly.

Alex glanzed at the boy sitting next to me, and then focused on me again. "You're coming with me." He tooked my hand, and made me stand up.

"Gaskarth, what is your problem?" Rian said angryly.

"You." He said simply, and then started making me walk with him. I turned my head around and mouthed a 'sorry' to Rian, to which he just smiled at me.

We got to Alex house eventualy. I was begging him to let me go the whole time, but he didn't pay me attention. To say I was scared was an understatement.

He opened the door, and pushed me inside. "I'm sorry." He said.

"What?"

"I had to do that. It was necessary. I don't want nothing to happen to you."

"I think you hurt me more than him." I said, and saw a flash of pain cross through Alex's eyes.

"You don't understand." He said, walking to the stairs and to his room. I decided to follow him.

"T-then explain me." He jumped on his bed and looked at me, a little bit confused.

He sighed. "Rian is... Rian is the most bullied person in school, okay? if you are Rian's friend, you're gonna be bullied. People are gonna laugh at you, beat you, steal your things, brake them, call you a faggot..."

"It's not like I'm not used to that, anyways." I mumbled, shrugging, and leaving my cellphone and keys on his desk.

"What do you mean you 'are used to it anyways'?" He looked at me cautiosly. I shooked my head. "Does that has something to do with the reason why you can't go home? Your dad seemed so nice. Is it your mother the one who does something to you?" I felt a pang of pain everytime a word scaped from Alex's lips. I did my best not to cry. I shooked my head. "Then what's the problem, Jack? I want to know."

"But you don't need to know. It's rea-ally n-nothing, I-I.... I mean it."

He stared at me for a few minutes, the most uncomfortable minutes of my whole existence. He sighed again, stood up and walked towards me, grabbing me by my wrists.

"Why do you do this to yourself?" He whispered, looking me directly at my eyes. I couldn't help but blush. A few tears scaped from my eyes..., and then I realised. I couldn't be here with Alex. He knew too much. I pushed him a little, not too hard, and ran downstairs to the front door. Why everytime I came here it ended up like this?

I heard Alex shout at me. "Why do you always ran away?! Remember I have feelings too!" I turned around and saw him standing at his doorway, his eyes glued to me, and a sad face too. I shrugged off the urge to go back, hug him and comfort him. I couldn't talk to him anymore.

SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO UPDATE, I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY! I just had a lot of stuff at school to do, teachers love giving me homework, and I got only, like, half an hour on my laptop everyday. I'm really sorry! I'll try to update more often <3
