I'll Keep A Secret If You Keep Me Guessing

Chapter Two

"Oi faggot, I'm calling you." I heard my fathers voice ring through me like a bell in a Church.

I quickly opened my eyes, and nearly got blinded. My dad was opening the red curtains violently.

"What you looking at dipshit?!" He growled like a lion. What a great 'good morning son' greeting to wake up to.

I sighed.

"N-Nothing." I stumbled my words out, picking myself off my not-very-comfortable bed. I winced as the bruises and cuts on my rib and belly started to ache and sting.

"Hurry up, pussy, you're going to be late for the taxi." He snarled, walking out my medium, clean room.

Dad, ordering a taxi, for me? That's weird, my dad isn't nice to me. Is ordering a taxi for someone a nice thing?

Quickly, I walked up to my half-empty closet; which I still haven't came out of yet. I grabbed a blink-182 hoodie, Green Day top and skinny black jeans; with a skeleton hand on the back pocket.

I hurried to the bathroom after changing, and started to style my 'skunk' hair. I teased it rapidly, letting the layers over-lap. It's gonna be my first day back at school, surprise, surprise. We have only moved five times in Baltimore, me only changing schools for the second time.Yeah, that's not normal is it? Our neighbours never really liked us, well my dad anyway. I'm the one nobody knows. I'm the one that doesn't like to go out and socialize, people just hate me. One glance of my and you will be calling me 'gay''emo''faggot'. My dad calls me these names everyday. Speaking of the devil-

"Oi, you got the money yet, dickhead?" My dad asked, glaring me down, sinking me into the cold floor.

"N-No sir." I was terrified as fuck.

My dad moved closer and slapped me hard, straight across the jaw. I winced in pain as I held my jaw - as if it was gonna fall off my face.

"Go in your room, and get the money now! I'm not paying for a little shit like you." He spat, walking away.

I tried my best not to cry. I rumbled through my old piggy-bank;where I saved up for collage; which I'm properly not gonna get into, and grabbed some spare change. I had just the right amount of change for the taxi. I went to the bathroom to check myself in the mirror, and sighed at my appearance. I am an ugly duckling.

"Oi , the taxi you don't deserve is here." My drunken dad called. I stumbled down the stairs to see my dad was waiting at the bottom with a angry look on his face.

"Half took your time." He growled. I only took about thirty seconds. Oh yeah, he's drunk already.

"I hope your head gets pushed down a toilet and I hope it stays there. You little shit. Hahaha, you little shit. Toilet." He jokes, which didn't make that much sense.

A lot of nerves hit me. Me starting my new school today, I'm gonna dread it. I doubt anyone will make friends with me. I'm not the type to make friends. Yeah Jason and Luke are my best friends, but I just can't see myself-

'slap'

went the stone hand of my horrible father.

"Fucking get in that taxi now!" He roared stepping closer so that our chests were touching. I blinked.

"If you don't get in that taxi now, I will make sure you can't even stand on your own two feet." He whispered into my ear, drunken breath warming it up. I gulped and stepped back, away from my father.

Steadily, I made my way to the front door as I felt a predator locking me down. I could feel a cold temptation in the back of my eyes as I opened the front door. I stepped into the warm-ish, cold-ish air as I slowly made my way to the taxi. I clung onto my money as I opened the backseat door.

I got in and sat on the black leather seat.

"S-sorry." I apologised as I handed my hand out for the taxi driver to take the money.

"S-Sorry, I-I only have change." I ducked my head under my hair as he collected the money.

"It's okay kid. Hey, if you don't mind, I have to pick up this kid, Alex. So, you don't mind if he joins us?" He asked, smiling. Of course I mind. I'm not good with talking with strangers or any normal person in general. Wait, who said I had to talk?

"Er, sure. O-Of course he can." I stumbled.God dammit.

"Aha, thanks. I'm quite sure you two will get along." He smiled happily. I just nodded. Was he serious? Of course I won't be able to get along with him, or anyone in general. The taxi driver started the taxi and drove about twenty seconds away from my house before stopping. I looked around in confusion. We had stopped outside a house with a blue door. The house was only a couple of doors away from mine. About five minutes later, a boy with a Green Day hoodie walked out from the strange house. He walked up to the backseat door and opened the door. Maybe I could get along with him.

"Demons" by Imagine Dragons reminds me of Jack in Dangerous and I get a little emotional.
