I Knew You Were Trouble
Chapter 21
When I woke up I was scared as hell. I was graduating.
Alex, Jack, Rian, Zack, Cassadee, Jane and I are all graduating. I’m so nervous, like you don’t even know. When I woke up and showered I got soap in my eyes so many times just from shaking so much. This is nuts. Also I’ve become very suspicious about my parents. They’ve been seeing each other more. Like actually getting out of the house to see each other. I don’t even know whether to be happy or confused. Either way I’m graduating today and am very nervous. What if I trip when I get my diploma? Or what if I had to fart and accidentally let it out and everyone heard? I could always brush it off. I still have to live with my friends knowing. What if I stumble and I’m too slow? My worst nightmares of possibilities flashed through my head so much that I started to get dizzy. I went downstairs and got some aspirin. Then I finished doing my hair and getting dressed. I’m so nervous.
Before me and Kaitlin left the house we took some pictures together. Sadly, Kaitlin and Willow are going back to Chicago. So, we’re trying to get as many pictures together as possible.

After the ceremony we ran around getting pictures with friends and chasing each other like kindergarteners. Well Jack chased me and everyone else chased him. It was all fun and games until we had to go our separate ways. Cassadee was going on the road and so were the boys. First I hugged Cass and told her how much I appreciate her being my friend and I hope that she and Rian end up married one day. Then I was stuck in the middle of an All Time Low hug. “Guys, I love you but I can’t breathe” I said hoping they heard me. Zack and Rian backed off first but Alex and Jack kept a grip on me. “Don’t make me do this” I said before shooting water at both of them. Sometimes I forget about my special talents, but when I need them I seem to remember they’re there. I went to give Alex a hug but he just pouted at me instead. “Ok, I’m sorry. Can I have a hug now?” I asked still offering my hug. He accepted it and didn’t let go of me for a whole 2 minutes. Jack counted. After we let go Jack jumped on my back. “Jack I can’t hug you like this” I said. He then got off and gave me a proper hug. “I’ll miss you” we whispered at the same time. We both laughed and pulled apart. I looked into his eyes and turned away, I couldn’t say goodbye. I knew I was going to start crying. He is the first real boyfriend I ever had and I’m being forced to say goodbye. In the distance I saw Kaitlin and Willow. I ran over to them and started making funny faces at Willow. She giggled and Kaitlin just gave me a knowing look. We fastened Willow into her carrier and went back to the car. This is going to be a long year of missing the ones you love and care about the most.
