"Breathe Kaitlin breathe" I spoke calmly to her as we walked her into the hospital. I saw the counter and instantly requested she get a wheelchair. Two nurses came around with a wheelchair assisting her with sitting in it, swiftly pushing her down a corridor. I started to follow her, but was stopped by an older nurse. "What's your relation?" she asked in a sickening voice that mad me want to vomit. " He and I are step siblings" I said pointing at Alex. She took her damn precious time deciding whether to let us through or not. "Go. 203, all the way down on the left" she instructed pointing down the hallway. I ran as fast as I possibly could making it to the room seeing her being hooked up to a few machines and switched to a gown. "How are you?" I asked softly.
"I'm about to give birth. How do you think I'm doing?"
I giggled slightly and let her clench onto my hand. I looked at Alex as if saying to do the same. "We're going to make it through this together Kaitlin. You and I"


Four hours of labor and a baby girl is placed into my arms fast asleep like the mother who gave birth to her. She has a small tuff of red hair on her tiny soft head covered by a pink hat. At the moment I stand by a window glancing around the city. Buildings go on for miles except for the willow tree that was sat directly outside. As I stare at the gorgeous tree I think about the no name little girl in my arms. Willow sounds like the perfect name.
* The next day
"I think that's wonderful. Willow is a wonderful name" Kaitlin said while feeding the little girl.
The guys had been allowed to see her,but Zack didn't want to. I was curious to find out why until my phone rang displaying my dads number.
"Hello" I said as I stepped quietly out of the room.

"Where have you been Elaina? You go to your mother's next thing I know you're in Baltimore with four guys. Care to explain?"

"I got into Kaitlin's head. She told me where she was and I got her out of there. She was pregnant dad. Her water broke when we found her. I brought Alex and his friends for backup"

"I understand why you did it, but you couldn't have just called telling me what was happening"

"I was afraid you wouldn't let me"

"Just get home soon and we'll discuss this later"

"What about Kaitlin. She and the baby have nowhere to go. We have a few spare rooms and I'll get a job and everything will go to her and the baby. Please."

For a long two minutes I could only hear the static from the phone.

"Alright. You two are in charge of taking care of her baby"

"Oh my gosh dad thank you so much! I love you. Bye"

Then I hung up. I can't wait to tell Kaitlin that her and Willow have a place to go. As I slip back into the room I notice the guys spread out on the chairs and floors asleep and Kaitlin is holding Willow. "Great news" I whisper grabbing her attention. "My dad said you and Willow can live with us. We're in charge of taking care of her, and we have more than enough room for both of you". "You really didn't..." She started to say, but I cut her off."You are my best friend with nowhere to go and a newborn. You need this at least for now". I could see the happy tears sliding down her cheeks. At that same moment I felt the same happening to mine.
"I'm glad you're happy and all, but could we keep this love fest down. Some of us are trying to sleep" said a very groggy Jack. His tired voice is so cute. I mentally slapped myself. When is he ever going to think of you like that? Shut up.
"Well now that you're awake you can help me find a carrier and some clothing for Willow"
Jack groaned, but got up anyway.


Half an hour later Jack and I are fighting.Over onesies. "Jack it's pink. Willow is a girl. Girls like pink" I stated. "She's gonna barf on it eventually. So why not get this" Jack held up a package of five plain onesies. "Why not get both" said a voice from behind. It was a voice not heard very often. Also known as Zack. "What are you doing here? Not that I don't enjoy you being here" I asked. "I wanted to talk to you, Elaina".
"Ok. What's up?"
"Kaitlin is my girlfriend"
She's his WHAT?
"Wait what? How? When? What?"
I was confused. She never told me she had a boyfriend. Especially a boyfriend who is best friends with my brother.
"The summer before you and her went into tenth grade she was visiting family here. We met and things went on from there. Soon we were more than just friends. She had to go bac at the end of the summer, but we kept in touch until that day that our contact with each other stopped. Now here we are"
I can't believe it. Zack has been dating my best friend and I never even knew it. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree they say.Jack just stood there in shock of everything that was being said. " Do you want to help pick out things for Willow?" I asked. "That is what I'm here for" he said with a chuckle. The three of us then continued shopping for things we need now like diapers,clothing, onesies, blankets, and all that fun stuff.

By the time we got back to the hospital both baby and mom were ready to leave. It took us a while but we eventually fixed the seat for Willow.The seating arrangement went Kaitlin, Willow and I in the back seat. Rian, two cups of Starbucks, and Zack. Then Alex and Jack squished in the back. Luckily for them it was only a 2 hour drive home and we stopped a crap load of times for Willow's sake.

Hi! I do not suggest coming here looking for perfect punctuation and all that jazz because this chapter and chap 9 where written on an iPad mini. So do expect grammatical error every now and then because its to difficult to fix and this would have never gotten updated.
