Who Said It Was Gonna Be Easy?

I noticed Alex was feeling down and I knew it was probably my fault. I could tell he was trying to hide it from me. I meant to make things right but I accidentally fell asleep. My head hurt a lot and sleeping allowed me some time to forget about it. Right in the moment before I fell asleep I made it my goal to make it up to him when I was feeling better.

When I woke up, Alex was sat opposite me on the floor with his headphones in. He smiled at me as I got up and went into the kitchen. Alex had cooked an omelette and left some plated up for me. I probably should have heated it back up but it didn't bother, I was too hungry to care. I ate it all then went back into the lounge, drinking the glass of water and swallowing some paracetamol. I then went over to alex and took his hand, dragging him up onto his feet and kissing him, trying to be passionate about it yet probably failing. His arms curled around me, pulling my body closer to his. I could tell he'd already forgiven me for being off with him earlier.

"wanna watch supernatural?"
"mhmm sure" he said quietly. I pulled him over to the settee making him sit down before I snuggled up to him. He put on episode 4 and not even 10 minutes into it, I'd fallen asleep, nice and comfy in his arms.


"hey, sleeping beauty" Alex greeted me when I woke up.

"'scuse me if I'm wrong but isn't sleeping beauty supposed to be woken with a kiss?"
"of course. How could I forget?" Alex grinned before pressing his lips to mine.

"actually if you look at the original fairy tale, sleeping beauty is woken up by being raped so..um.." He said when we stopped kissing.

"it wouldn't be rape, I'm consenting" I whispered to him with a grin as he smacked me on the arm.

"jack! Don't be so suggestive to one of your students!"

"shut up, you don't call me sir, do you?"

"yes sir" he said innocently, widening his eyes at me.

"shut up" I laughed and laid my head on his chest again.

"nah, the only person I know who calls you sir is rian"

"yeah well he's only doing it because he's a fucking prick and he's trying to piss me off. Some of my other classes call me it too but I might start getting them to call me jack..mr barakat and sir makes me feel awkward"

"you should do it"

"mhmm I should" we both fell into a comfortable silence for a few minutes.

"you feeling better yet, baby?"

"mhmm..cuddles and kisses: just what the doctor ordered" I snuggled into him as I spoke.

"glad to hear it. So you'll be going to work tomorrow then?"

"yup. And you'll be going back to school"

"you're really gonna make me?"

"yu-huh. Lex, your educations important"

"for gods sake. Fine. I'm gonna hold you to that blowjob though"

"oh yeah? Who's being suggestive now, huh?!"

"shh! Nobody'll know!" he whispered before kissing me.

"I'll know" I pointed out.

"yeah but you know about us in general.." he retorted quickly.

"if I kiss you will you shut up?"

"I dunno try it" he said as he grinned.

I definitely ddn't need to be told twice.
