Jack

I kissed Alex with all I was worth and more. We moved in a way that I was no on top of him, lips moving against him as my heart fluttered in my chest. I was just so happy, I couldn't believe Alex actually said he loved me. Granted, I said the same thing last night, but clearly he didn't hear. I felt Alex's mouth move to bite my lower lip, obviously expecting this kiss to go further but I pulled away. I wanted to keep this romantic and innocent.

“I'm so happy you said that,” I breathed out, looking into his eyes. “I love you too.”
“Really?” He asked, eyes widen. “Y-you don't have to say it just-”
“Shut up, I said it last night after you passed out.” I chuckled, kissing him again. “I love you, I loveyou so much Alexander Gaskarth.”

He smiled hugely, looking happier than ever. I rolled off him, and pulled him into my arms. As much as I want to make out and maybe get off all day long, we were both still hung over and I could see the tired look in Alex's eyes. He needed to rest more, plus the pills I gave him (and took myself) make you drowsy. It's better just to sleep a few more hours than try to function with those things in your system.

With that thought, I rested my head over Alex's, kissing his hair before just burying my nose in it. Alex let out a small sigh of contentment, burrying his nose into my neck. I chuckled and pulled the blanket around us tighter, and closed my eyes. I'm pretty sure Alex fell asleep before me, cause the sounds of his gentle breathing is what brough me to dreamland as well.

When I woke up, Alex wasn't in my arms anymore. I said up, looking for him. It took about two seconds for me to realise he was sitting at the foot of the bed, watching Peter Pan again. Smiling, I moved to wrap my arms around him, and Alex turned his head back with a smile.

“You're finally awake.” He mumbled, leaning up to kiss my jaw and return his attention to the movie.
“Mhm, how long have you been awake?”
“Only about half an hour.” He shrugged. “But I don't wanna be in bed all day. I feel better now.”
“Hmm, wanna go hang out in the park?” I offered, “We can ride my bike over, get ice cream, maybe make out in a tree or something.”
“Sure, sounds like a plan.” He smiled. “Would it be bad if I wore this same shirt?”

I looked over him, seeing he was in the shirt I had given him last night. Smirking at seeing my name, kinda, on him I shook my head.

“Nope.” I popped. “But for God's sake, fix your hair!”

After we both were dressed and ready, we left the house which still had a few stray people lingering around. Hopping on my bike, and putting on our helmet we headed off. I parked near the area we were going to enter the park in, and Alex poked my side.

“Yes?”
“I just realized that I'm starving.” He mention, and I took off my helmet.
“Whoops,” I shrugged and looked around. “There's a cafe down there, wanna go?”
“I don't have my wallet.”
“What a coincidence.” I smiled and dug out mine. “I have mine.”
“But!”
“No buts, I'll pay. Let's go feel your tummy with greasey food.”
“Fine, okay.” He smiled.

I took his hand and lead the way. Thankfully the cafe wasn't busy and we were both able to eat mountains of food quickly. We talked more about last night, more about my side of the party. I told him the band and I were really happy how the set went even though I wasn't looking forward to selling more tickets in the next couple weeks. Alex suggested that we pick a day to hang out at the mall and bother strangers. Seemed like a worthy idea.

“Well, let's go that park, eh?” I said, slapping some money on the table.
“Sounds good, I need to walk off those five pancakes.”
“And eggs, fatty.” I teased, making Alex pout.
“You jerk.” He muttered but I grabbed his hand and pulled him closer.
“But you love me,” I smiled. “And you have syrup on your mouth.”

Before he could respond, I kissed him fully, tesing his lips a bit with my tongue. The kiss tasted sweet and was a bit sticky. When I pulled away, I smirked at his red face and led us out of the restaurant. The walk to the park was simple and lovely, neither of us saying anything. However, I noticed Alex kept looking backwards a couple of times.

“Dude, what it is?” I asked.
“There's a woman behind us who was in the cafe.” He muttered back.
“Maybe she's going to the park?”
“Maybe..but I think I remember her looking at us a lot.”
“Alex, some people just have problems accepting two males, or females, being together.”
“I know but I just....”
“Don't worry bout it, okay?” I said, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.
“Alright.” He smiled and we continued our way through the park. “So, about-”

He was interrupted by his ringtone going off. Letting go of my hand, he fumbled around his (my) pants and digging it out. Putting the phone to his ear, he answered with a 'hello' and I could hear fast, frantic talking from what I'm going to guess was his mother.

“Yes...I'm with Jack. We're just... mom I told you I was...okay okay. I'll ask him....I mean, yeah I can walk but....alright.” He hung up and looked at me. “I need to get home.”
“Really, okay I can drive-”
“My mom want me to walk home.” He said, frowning. “She sound extremely upset about something.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, she kept asking me what we were doing, where we were at, and yeah...”
“Well, I'll see you at school then I guess.” I smiled, and leaned down to kiss him lightly. “I'll walk with you up til my house.”
“What about your bike?”
“I can get it later.” I shrugged.

We both headed off to leave the park, and I reached for Alex's hand once again. He seemed nervous, probably worried about what set his mom off. Hopefully it's nothing too bad.

Just know, that it's not on this site. I already messaged the author of So Wrong It's Right with links to her stolen story and other than that, it looks like she hasn't copied anyone else work.
