Jack

I watched 'Alexander' through the lesson, taking in little things about him. He seemed alright with hanging with me and my friends for a bit before I notice that his back got stiffer and stiffer as time went on. Maybe he already knew I wasn't the sort a church goer should hang out with. Too late for that, now I was interested in this kid. He was dressed all nice today too, maybe I could help him be more...casual.

Once Billie announced class was over and we could leave when we wanted I turned straight to Alex instead of following my buddies out the door.

“Hey Lex, do you want to hang out? School's done and yeah.” I asked, making him look at me.
“It's Alexander and I don't know. My parent's expect me home at the usual time.”
“Call em up and say you're chilling with a friend today.” I said, leaving no room for arguments.
“Umm, okay... I guess.” I smirked and stood, grabbing his arm to drag him along.
“Great, let's head to the mall.”

I dragged him out with me, not caring if he needed to go to his locker or something. I was going to get to know this kid, and help him out. As we walked by my smokig buddy, I told him I was busy today and he tried asking me to come over and introduce my 'date.' The look on Lex's face was priceless as I just laughed and called Mike a prick. We soon go to the student lot and I found my precious baby. A black and silver Harley. I let go of Alex and took off the helmet to hand it to him.

“You have a motorcycle?” He asked, staring at the helmet.
“Obviously, dude.” I smiled, “Now put this on your pretty little head.”
“Is it safe?” He asked, gingerly taking the helmet.
“Sure.”
“Are you sure?”
“Get on the bike, princess.” I laughed hopping on, feeling Alex follow my lead. “Hang on.”


I started up the bike and Alex jumped and clung onto my hoodie, making me laugh cause I know he's going to want to wrap his arms around me in a second. Backing up slowly, I took off from the lot making Alex yell and hug on to me.

“Jack! Slow down!” He demanded, head hidden in my back.
“No can do.” I called back, going a little faster just for kicks.

We got to the mall in record time, consiering I was going twice the speed limit. When I parked, Alex jumped off the bike looking scared and pissed off. He tore off my helmet, and nearly threw it at me starting to yell.

“Were you trying to kill me! Like, cheese and rice, that was scary!” He yelled and I just bursted out laughing. “Stop laughing at me!”
“Cheese and rice? Really?” I chuckled. “Fuck man, let loose a little.” Alex stared at me, pouting clearly looking ready to walk off. “Oh calm down, I'll go slower next time. Come on.”

I started walking, turning back after a few moments to see Alex following after me. I had to refrain from saying something like 'good puppy' and just stuffed my hands in my pockets. As we walked in, I started pointing things out and telling him some of my own personal stories. Like hot I climbed the mall Christmas tree, or one time there was a fire in Bath and Body Works, ect. I was heading to my favorite place in the world. Hot Topic. Cause seriously, Alex needed some new clothing choices if he's going to be around me.

Even if I have to pay for it.

As we approached the store, Alex spoke up.
“Are we going in there?”
“Yep.”
“But...it's looks...”
“Different? Scary? Dude, trust me.” I laughed and grabbed his hand again to make him follow. “And tell me more about yourself while I shop, Lex.”

This was going to be fun.
