Jack

It was just an average day for me at my school, when I caught wind of a new kid showing his face today. I wasn't very interested in class, so I still skipped my first three to screw around with my buddy Zack. He goes to a different school, so we just usually meet up somewhere between them. Once in awhile my other friend, Rian, will join but he likes school more than us an will go to class. Pfft, good kid.

When I got back, it was my English class, then lunch and finally the only class I always go to. Music.

When I plopped into my seat, a good five minutes late and the teacher not saying anything being used to it, I got a poke in the shoulder. Looking back, I got view of Rian and smiled.

“What's up?” I asked, knowing he had something to say. Rian was the king of gossip.
“So, there;s this new kid.” He smirked.
“Oh?”
“He's a total church kid. Dressed all nice and so quiet.”
“Is he cute?” I asked. I was bisexual, and kind of slept around. The thought of dirtying up a church boy seemed like a blast.
“Down, Barakat. He probably thinks being gay is the biggest sin of sins.”
“He has yet to meet me though.” I winked. “I can make anyone want to commit some sins.”
“He's going to think you're Satan himself.” Rian laughed. “Anyway, he's wearing a purple checkered shirt. Keep an eye out for him.”
“Oh, I will.” I smiled evil before hearing the warning 'tut' of the teacher and turning around to pretend I was paying attention.

I snuck out of school for lunch to go get some real food. Well, as real Taco Bell gets. I got back in time to be early for Music class, sitting down in the chair closest to the guitars. The room had no desk, and we were always sitting in a circle. Our teacher, Billie Joe (or Mr. Armstrong to some) was really chill, so sometimes, we just all relax on the floor and talk about music.

I was just relaxing, waiting til the place started filling up when something caught my eyes as more kids walked in. Purple checkered shirt. I followed the shirt up to find a face that almost made me swoon. That was the new kid? If only Rian was gay, cause then he could have warned me of how hot this kid was. Poor sucker had been stuck in Catholic school? He's wasting that pretty face.

I started thinking of evil fantasies in my head until Billie walked in and introduced the new kid. Alex Gaskarth, I was going to have to remember that name. I followed him with my eyes as he found a seat on the other side of the room. Soon though, I found myself distracted by what we were doing today. We actually had an assignment, which was to write an original song. Great.

I left my usual five minutes early, Billie not minding. I needed a smoke, I went all day without one and I was sure my buddy would be out by the pole by now.

“There you are Barakat! I need you to bum me one today.” My buddy, Mike, asked and I laughed. “Fine, but your older brother better buy me some liquor.” I smiled, getting out my pack and offering him one before pulling out a stick myself. “So, did you even go to class?”
“Nahh man, I found this hot chick to....”

The conversation went on, both of us ignoring the bell of last classes getting out. It wasn't until I was zoning out from Mike's story and looking over towards the crowd of kids leaving did I see him him again. Alex was walking by, and I turned my head away to act like I wasn't staring. Luckily, he didn't seem to notice until I got to witness the kid trip and catch himself, and look to see if anyone notice.

I couldn't help my laughter as I nearly choked on the smoke I just inhaled. Oh yeah, this kid would be fun to know.
