Nine

It's been five years now. Five years! Since we all got out of high school and hit the road. In those five years, All Time Low was on a rocket to the moon. They released So Wrong, it's Right, Nothing Personal, and Dirty Work is dropping this week. We've been all over the world and I actually had Jack meet my grandmother Lupei when we stopped in Romania. Jack and I live in LA now, just down the street from Rian and Alex. That check my mom gave me for my graduation gift went to furnishing our little haven on the west coast.
"This is all so surreal. We were all just a bunch of kids fresh out of high school five years ago," I reminiced on the balcony of our London hotel room.
"And we're fucking rockstars and you happen to be dating the best looking one," Jack bragged.
"We get on a plane to LA tomorrow and then we gear up for the next tour to promote Dirty Work after the release party. After that who gives a fuck," I shouted with the biggest smile on my face.
"Hey some of us are trying to bloody sleep here," Alex playfully bitched from his balcony in his native British accent.
"Kiss my ass Brit," I replied in my Romanian accent and stuck out my tongue.

We walked out of the terminal early in morning a couple days later. Joe, May, and Lisa were waiting for us. May hugged Jack and Joe hugged me and then we switched. Lisa and Alex liplocked and Jack and I smiled and decided to give them a hard time.
"Hey get a room," we shouted at them in unison. Alex and Lisa flipped us off and everyone laughed.

Jack and I walked into our house and just left our bags at the door. I went to our basement and I found my little scottish terrier, Bonnie, waiting in her crate for me to get her out. When we had to go to the UK so the guys could go to a talk show interview, we had May puppy sit for us. Bonnie leaped into my arms after I opened her crate door and she started licking my face like crazy. Jack leaned against the wall and laughed as me and my puppy greeted each other.
"Oh I missed you too," I laughed as Bonnie wagged her tail.
"Bonnie you ready for a good run tonight," Jack asked. It was a full moon tonight. Since we got Bonnie, he took her with him for a run when he went out with the guys. Being on the west coast meant the wolves were in control and had the freedom to do as they pleased.
"Be careful tonight okay," I kissed him softly after I put Bonnie down.
"I will. I always am. May and Joe are going to stay here tonight to keep you company. I'll be back by morning. I love you," he brushed my now black hair out of my face and kissed me again.
"I love you too," the three of us ran upstairs.

The next morning, I woke up ad rolled over to find Jack sound asleep with Bonnie at his feet. I smiled and got up quietly. I went downstairs to find May and Joe at our nook drinking coffee. I pour myself a mug and added my usual cream and sugar to it before taking a good sip.
"Someone's happy," May teased. She was the big sister I never had and I loved her so much.
"He was sleeping like a baby. He usually is up in the morning," I told her.
"It's the jet lag," Joe sasses.
"Yeah but Bonnie is up at the crack of dawn even after a run with him.
"Okay maybe your right," he tooked his sassing back.

Jack woke up that afternoon and he found me reading Dracula again. I was so focused that he playfully bit my neck like a vampire and I yelped like a poodle. Bonnie tilted her head at the new sound I made.
"You are such an ass,' I smacked him with my book as he leaped over the couch to sit next to me.
"You are reading it again," he whined. Since I got it when I was a Sophmore, I read it ten times. I can't help it, I love reading it.
Jack and I relaxed the remainder of the day, watching the Home Alone and Star Wars movies. I reached in between the couch cushions and pulled out our toy light sabers and we dueled when there was a duel in the movies. It was so much fun. Until the power went out and the house went so dark I couldn't see Jack.
"Jack where are you," I asked while I reached out blindly.
"I'm right here. I got you," he grabbed my hands and walked closer to me. His eyes were the wolf's so he could see in the dark.
"Who would cut our power," I asked.
"Who do you think, Mirela," I knew that voice.
"Dorin," it my my father. I felt Jack pull me to him and he held me tightly to him.
