Dear Maria [On Hold]

The floor was covered with used tissues, diapers and other baby stuff. It has been a week since Maria joined the tour bus and all members are stressed and in a bad mood, except Alex and Maria. Alex just cared about his little baby girl. He never let anyone touch her.
But the tour had to go on. Matt said that he would take care of her, while the band is on stage, because he is the only one who Alex trusted, but he had to be on stage as well so they had a little problem.
Rian was angry because he wanted to see the floor, so he tidied up a bit, when Jack entered the bus.
"Rian, there are already chicks outside. And the stage is prepared. What should we do?" Jack sounded desperately.
"Dunno. Ask your sister to take care of little Maria." He proposed. His voice sounded annoyed but he tried to stay calm. Jack hadn't anything to do with this problem.
Jack sighted. "May is at home. It would took her like seven hours to be here. I look if I can retune Alex."
He entered another room, where the bunks are. Alex was in there and tried to teach Maria how to speak.
"Alex, she is two month old. She can't speak!" Jack said and sat down next to his best friend.
Alex looked up to the lanky boy and lifted Maria in his arms. "You think?"
"I know. Come on. We need to get on stage and you have some baby puke in your hair. Get showered, I'll take care of my little Niece."
Alex handed his daughter to Jack and stood up. "Be careful, dude. She is sensitive."
When he went to the 'bathroom', Jack smiled. Maria was very cute. She has hazel brown eyes, had really pale, clear skin and a bright smile. Her little hair is the same colour Alex' hair is.
"Hm, cutie. Remember uncle Jack?" Maria laughed and squeezed his big nose. It hurt a bit, but Jack laughed.
"Now lets get you even more beautiful, little princess." He said and stood up. Alex' 'wardrobe' was full of baby dresses and stuff, Jack didn't even know the name of.
"Soo, which do you want to wear tonight, rockabella?"
Maria pointed at a blink-182 shirt from Alex.
"So young, but such a good taste. Okay, just let me change it to your size, Maria."
He pulled it out and went to the kitchen, with Maria in his arms, to get a scissor and a sewing kit.
He sat down at his bet again and let Maria sit at his leg, while cut off the bottom and the sleeves of Alex shirt. He sewed the edges so that it looks like original. He never told the other band members of his sewing skills, because it was embarrassing, but now it was useful.
He undressed Maria while mumbling "Your Dad would kill me if he knew."
Maria laughed again. It was like she wanted to say Jack, that she was fine with it.
Jack pulled the cut shirt over her head. The blink-182 symbol emblazoned on her chest. Jack searched for a belt from himself and wrapped it around the little girl. She looked like a fashionable girl.
"Now your hair. I hope it's like your fathers. Then you're lucky. He has the most awesome hair in the world." Jack said, happy with what he did.
He let his hands run through the little girls hair and decided to style it like his own.
After doing it, he presented her to Rian.
"Whatcha sayin'?"
"Jack, are you serious? Alex will rip off your head and shit into your throat!"
Jack laughed but said in a serious voice: "No bad words in front of madames, you filthy boy."
Both started to laugh and didn't heard the bathroom door was opened and closed again.
"What the fuck did you do?!" Alex shouted.
Jack turned around, Maria in his arms.
"Well Alex, listen"
"No, Jack, you listen. Don't touch my stuff."
Jack looks down, straight in Maria's eyes. She didn't know why her Daddy and her Uncle were fighting but she hated it.
After a couple seconds she began to cry. Alex looked at her, puzzlement in his eyes.
"And what the hell did you with her hair?" He asked and lifting her to his arms. "What did uncle Jack do?"
She seemed to understand what his father said and smiled.
"You like it?" Alex couldn't understand. Well blink-182 is always a good thing and this hairstyle suited Jack, so it was good looking, but Alex doubt that a little girl likes this whole style. His Maria was an individual. She has more from his father than he thought.
"Okay, fine. Then come, Jacky. Rian?"
Both nodded and followed the father with his baby girl.
The stage was about 500 Yards off. They walked quietly, just the humming from Alex was heard. Maria laughed cheery, but maybe she just liked 'Poppin' Champagne', the song Alex hummed. Jack wasn't sure if it was a good thing that Alex went on stage. Maybe he get so sidetracked by Maria that he skips or forgets lyrics. But Jack didn't want to worry. He worried the last eleven month about Alex, Lisa, Maria, the band. Now he just wanted to party and give a concert like they always do. He began to smile goofily.
When they entered the backstage area, Alex gave Maria to Vinny, who had actually his day off, but volunteered to take care of the princess from All Time Low. All the crew would volunteer. They fell in love with that little girl, but all had to work. Just Vinny hadn't anything to do.
"Be careful, Vinny. Every mark you'll leave on her, I'll pay you back!" Alex warned seriously.
It sounded like an awkward scene in a love-movie or something. Jack tried hard not to laugh but let out a little giggle masked as a cough.
He probably should be an actor, because all turned to him and Alex asked worried, "You can be on stage, right Jack?" Jack just nodded and made his way to the stairs. He just wanted to go up there and rock the crowd. He pranced while waiting for his tech guy to give him his guitar and the words to go on stage. Alex followed Jack after kissing his daughter for a last time and shooting Vinny a last warning glance.
Zack joined them, his bass guitar in his hand. Rian was the last one, "Sorry guys, somebody lost my sticks."
He held his sticks high and grinned. The others rolled their eyes, but before they could say anything, somebody told them to go on stage. The crowd began to scream "All Time Low" and the band was making its way to their places, marked with tape.
"Ey, how are you guys?" Alex shouted into the mic.
The crowd cheered.
Alex laughed. He loved their fans.
"Uh, guys, first I wanna play something old. You know. Old but gold. Poppin' Champagne to this song." He said and winked.
The band began to do what they could do best. Entertaining people with their music and some jokes and little stories.
Between Outlines and A Love Like War, they decided to read out some tweets.
Next to the normal album-related questions and stuff there were couple of questions about Maria.
"@AlexAllTimeLow how's your baby girl and whats her name?!" Somebody asked. After reading it, Alex gulped and waved Vinny on stage.
He took Maria in his arms and said slowly, "This is my little Maria. Are you fine, sweetheart?"
Maria babbled something, what sounded like a 'yes'. The crowd cheered again.
Jack headed over to his niece and showed the fans the dress. He took Alexs microphone and said: "Well, her music taste is very nice. Do you like her dress?"
The fans were going insane. Jack chuckled and went back to his taped 'X' on the floor.
Alex handed his daughter back to Vinny and cleaned his throat. "Before we will perform A Love Like War, I want so sing a new song to you. I will do it a capella because it's all new and I just have the text and the melody."
He laid his guitar on the floor and took his mic.
"The song is called 'Dear Maria' and it's for my little baby girl."
He began singing and the whole audience was quiet. They waved their arms and listened to Alex' heart melting voice.
The rest of All Time Low was speechless because they heard the love in every line of the song.
Vinny brought Maria back on stage so that she could listen to her fathers song.

Yuu, next year, next chapter.. almost. Just 7 and an half hour and it's 2014. Happy New Year, my crazy grandmas.
