Undead Ahead

Jack introduces me to everyone else an they were all rather pleasant if not slightly intimidating. There was Chris, Ricky, Brandon, Ryan, Balz, Devin, Tj, Craig, Mike, Tony, Kellin, Rian and Zack.

Rian had made me dinner not long after I arrived and although it was just a simple meal I was grateful for every bite.

'How long has it been since you've had a proper meal' Rian asked me once I was done eating.

'I can't remember, months maybe. I used to just eat anything I could find' I confessed as Ryan just nodded understandingly. I like Rian, he isn't pushy like Jack and he isn't so unbelievably upbeat about everything. He's just quiet and understanding and I like that.

'ALEX!' Jack squealed as he ran into the kitchen where Rian and I had been sat in comfortable silence. I cringed as he ran in and stopped right Infront of me, studying me.

'What?!' I asked him harshly, feeling slightly bad when his smile faltered at my harsh tone.

'I just wanted to show you your room, well our room. But if you don't want to it's okay..' He said with a heartbreaking expression on his face. I couldn't help but reach out and gently touch his arm to comfort him.

'Im sorry, show me our room' I said as I gently squeezed his arm and watched his face break into a sly smile.

'I knew you wouldn't be able to resist my heartbroken look!' He exclaimed, clearly happy with his acting skills . I had to admit he was a good actor.

'You're an idiot' I said, punching his arm lightly and causing him to pull the same sad face as before. 'That face isn't going to work this time' I said gently tapping his slightly pouted lip causing him to giggle and pull me up three flights of stairs to our bedroom. By the time we reached the top going at Jacks rapid pace I was out of breath.

'Youll need to get used to the stairs, fatty' Jack teased causing me to smile. Wow, I actually smiled..

'Hey, look at that pretty smile' Jack cheered.

'Shut your mouth or I'll fuck it' I joked. Wow, I'm even making jokes now.

'I'd enjoy it' Jack said with a shrug as he dragged me into our ro which was pretty nice considering the circumstances. There were two beds in the room both with mattresses, pillows and sheets, three things I hadn't seen in a long time. I couldn't help but jump on the bed and relish In the comfort.

'It's nice to have a proper bed, isn't it?' Jack said, watching me with an amused look on his face.

'You have no idea how I've missed this!' I exclaimed wrapping myself up in the duvet and enjoying the comfort until Jack pulls it off me and wraps it around himself.

'Gimmie it back!' I whined, making grabby hands at him and trying to pull it back all without success.

'Beg me' Jack said with a wink.

'Not way in hell' I cried as I pulled really hard on the duvet managing to pull Jack on top of me causing me to blush and squeal.

'Jack! Stop molesting the guest!' Someone shouted up the stairs.

'I think you'll find he pulled me on top of him!' Jack yelled back still on top of me.

'You quite comfy there?' I asked with sarcasm dripping from my voice.

'Very comfy, thank you very much' He replied, curling up closer to me. I'm not going to lie, it felt nice but I just wanted to sleep alone.

'Jack get off, I'm tired!' I whined and pushes at his shoulders, happy yet sad when he finally got off me. He gently placed the duvet over me and tucked me in.

'Good night Alex.' He whispered gently before stroking my face and jumping into his own bed.

'Good night Jack.' I whispered back. 'Thank you for.. Everything'

The last thing I heard before I drifted off was Jacks adorable little giggle.
