Lisa and Alex had a baby girl 3 years ago but Lisa died in the delivery room and to be honest Alex had stopped loving her long before that, but no doubt did he miss her. She had become a bitch in all honesty, but Alex will never forget the sweet, caring girl he fell in love with. (btw: I'm sure Lisa is a very nice and wonderful girl, it just worked better for the plot)
Jasey is the best daughter Alex could ever ask for, but he's lonely and wants Jasey to have another parent. After meeting Jack at the music store Alex works in, he may have found the other half to him and Jasey's story, but will he be able to give Jasey everything she deserves?

Rian Dawson and Cassadee Pope
best friend to Alex Gaskarth, like an aunt and uncle to Jasey. They both care about Alex and Jasey very much and soon learn to love Jack too
