Me and Jaime waked In a comfortable silence when we got to Oli's house. The second we got their Mike literally jumped on Jaime for the pastries I couldn't help but chuckle at those two.

Saturday Kellin's POV
I was getting ready for my date with Vic he said to dress casual so I'm wearing a blink 182 shirt and black skinny jeans that's casual right? I can't believe someone so beautiful wanted to go out with me it's impossible well I thought it was. I as ready ad waiting outside for Vic he showed up a few minutes later I was stunned he looked amazing he had on a Blink 182 hoodie and in this one the smiley face logo was purple he accompanied that with purple skinny jeans, old converse, and a beanie he looked amazing. He walked up to me and gave me a hug and I hugged back.
“Hey Kellin, you look great” Vic said making me blush.
“Thanks and you look amazing” I replied after that we we're off lets hope this date goes good.

Juliette's POV
My alarm clock woke me up at 6am I got up and took a shower. I decided to where a Misfits long sleeve shirt and black skinny jeans, Jaime told me before that he loves this shirt so I wore it. Than I put my apron and hat on I left a note to Oli saying that I went to work and I'll probably will be back later-ish because I'm hanging out with Jaime and that I'll be on at work until 12pm if he wanted to visit. So with that I went to work I got to work at around 6:35 so that gave me enough tie to get everything ready and at 6:59am I flipped the closed sign to open. About two minutes later a mop of ginger air came in his eyes looked red and puffy like he's been crying and he was still in his pajamas.
“Alan are you okay?”
“Y-yeah ju-just not a good d-day”
“Come on you can sit in the break room with me and we can talk”
“What ab-about y-your job?”
“I'll here the front bell go off when someone comes in”
“O-Okay”
“So what happened?”
“To-today i-is ex-exactly four years years since my m-mom d-d-died” Alan said in between sobs. I just held him and said reassuring things in his ear. He started to calm down.
“I-it was my-my fa-fault i-if I-I jus-just waited until we-we were ho-home to u-use th-the bath-bathroom sh-she'd sti-still b-be her-here I-it's all-all m-my fau-fault”
“Alan you can't go through your life blaming yourself!”
“You don't even know what happened!”
“If you want you can tell me but you don't need to”
Before he could keep going the door opened
“I'll be back in 5 minutes okay just wait”
I walked out and it was Austin.
“Hey have you seen Alan I'm worried about him?”
“Wait one second I'll be right back”
I walked back to Alan “Austin's here and said he's worried about you what should I tell him?”
“I should probably get out of your hair so I'm gonna go with him”
“Okay come on”
I picked him up and he started squealing “Let me down, let me down” I could here Austin laughing from the other room.
When we got their Austin could see his eyes were still red and puffy from crying, he frowned a little and after I let Alan down he said “Hey buddy” and gave him a hug.
“H-hey Austin” He smiled at Austin but it was clearly fake.
After that I got them coffees and they left it was only 7:35am it's going to be a long day. About 10 minutes later a group of kids from school came in ugh this group consisted of Hannah, Mark, James, and Victoria just great, note the sarcasm.
“Hello what can I get you guys today?”
They ordered a lot of shit and threw plenty of insults my way and then left as they were walking out Mike, Tony, and Jaime walked in.
“God I hate them”
Jaime said “Me too, they hate Alan and Kellin and I hate how mean they are to them”
“they hate me too”
We all talked for a little bit an Jaime said he's be back at 12:00 for our date. After that the shop picked up it's pace a little and around 9:30 the shop was like a ghost town. I counted my tips and I had $33.41 and I still had a few hours of work. I emptied out the tip jar I also got my pay today. A little later my boss came in. She ordered a coffee . “Do you want me to put his on your tab?” She replied “Yes please” and put $5 in the tip jar. “Juliette I feel like you over work yourself”. “No I don't mam'” “Yes you do that's why I'm giving you the rest of September off paid” “Thank you mam'” “Here is another check this is for your vacation pay” “Thank you so much” “Your welcome just finish today off and then have a nice vacation” After that she left. At about 9:45 Oli walked in. “Hey Oli I have great news!”
“What would that be love?”
“I have the rest of this month off paid”
“That's amazing next weekend were going on a road trip than”
“Really where too?
“Um... I'm not sure”
“We also have this Friday off from school”
“Perfect we'll leave Thursday night to our unknown location” I laughed a little and got him his coffee he left after leaving me $9.21 tip which I told him not to give me and that it was WAY too much but he insisted. After that it got busy for like. At 9:50 we got busy for about 20 minutes and I got $21.82 more in tips which is awesome. At 10:07am Kellin and Vic walked in they're so cute together. Vic ordered a half dozen donuts, 2 mocha Iced coffees which I put extra mocha sauce in because I know how my 2 best friends like sweet stuff, Vic got a bagel with bream cheese and a side of hash browns and bacon. Kellin got a chocolate chip muffin with a side of hash browns and sausage links. I used my employee discount so it didn't cost so much. Now I'm hungry so I'm going to take my break I changed the open sign to “sorry closed for 5-10 minutes”. I made myself a breakfast sandwich with a side of hash browns and a coffee food is free when I'm working which is awesome. After I ate I opened the doors back up it was low a few people here or their for the rest of the day. I made two ice coffees and put them in the fridge n the break room so I can grab them when I leave. At 11:58 my boss came me and her are the only two workers. “Juliette I was thinking since this place is starting to get more and more busy lately about hiring a few new people they would start in October hen you came back. One would have the same hours as you and one would pick up a few during the week how would you feel about that?” “I thin that's a great Idea” “Also I want to give you a promotion to assistant manager this includes a raise of $1.00 per hour and working on Wednesdays from 4-7, your first duty as assistant manager would be finding the people to higher, the youngest you can higher at is a 12 year old but, if you choose a 12 or 13 year old they have to work the same days as you, do you accept the promotion?” “Of course I do!” “Also this promotion means your in charge of inventory but that should take no more than a hour a week you could either stay extra time to do it or you could and your in charge of firing people when necessary and if you hire someone you have to tell me first and your in charge of hiring if any more help is ever needed” “Yes Mam' that's amazing” “The promotion starts in October when you come back from work and so does hiring people” “Okay thank you so much” After that she started her shift and I got everything from the employees lounge” and grabbed Mine and Jaime's coffees then waited outside for 2 minutes when I saw him walking up to the store I walked up to him gave him his coffee Jaime and I walked on the pier and did a little shopping which he insisted on buying and the went out to lunch it was an amazing date me and him kissed and it felt like magic, on our way back to Oli's we stopped to the bank so I could cash in my pay checks. We got back to Oli's around two Jaime did was go to the fridge for food those damn Mexicans. Kellin grabbed me by my arm and yelled “Me and Juliette are going to gossip please don't tag along”. We spent a whole hour gossiping him and Vic are made for each other literally. Me and him are going to plan a double date for the four of us. When we came back Alan and Austin were their Austin had a wet spot on his shirt from Alan ad Alan's eyes were red and puffy from crying so much. I felt so bad I went over to him and gave him a hug. “Alan are you feeling any better?” He just nodded and pulled me next to him he put his head in my lap and fell asleep within 5 minutes. Everyone looked at me
“What?” I asked
“You're amazing with him that's what e used to do with his sister or mom when he was sad, he really trusts you it too him months to trust anyone else in our friend group except for me because I've known him forever I used to babysit him before his mom passed away and we became best friends”
“I'm kind of at a loss of words I can't believe he trusted me so easily but, I can't believe I trusted you guys so easily either”
They just nodded in understanding then Alan started to thrash out in his sleep I think he was having a nightmare.
“Alan wake up” I said while I was shaking him lightly to wake him up. He woke up and started bawling into my shoulder I was rubbing soothing circles on his back while trying to calm down. Once he calmed down he mumbled “I'm sorry about that” everyone reassured him that it was fine. After that we ordered a 24 cut pepperoni pizza and a 12 cut cheese pizza I also got two 24 packs of soda for everyone it's hard to feed ten boys I offered to pay and they objected we all had some money to put towards it except Alan but that was fine. At ten O'clock everyone went home me and Oli stayed up and watched a movie then Oli went upstairs for the night I stayed downstairs and was reading “The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod and enjoying the pitter patter of the rain when I heard a knock at the door. Who the fuck would be their this late. I was ready to start yelling at whoever it was but it was Alan he looked scared how he looked scared me. He was drenched just in a pair of pajama pants and bare foot he had a busted lip and a bruise on his jaw, his nose was bleeding and it was crooked also he had a boot mark on his side it looked like he was kicked and by the looks of it a rib was broken he also had a few more bruises on his torso. Did his fucking dad do this I fucking hope not.
“What happened?” I asked as I started bringing him upstairs.
“M-my da-dad” I just hugged hm being careful of his bruises. I tossed him a towel and looked for a first aid kit.
“I'm going to wake up Oli to get you a change of clothes and so I can find out where the first aid kit is” He just nodded he looked so scared it was actually pretty scary.
I went into Oli's room and he was still up listening to music.
“Oli where is their a first aid kit and do you have a pair of sweat pants and a shirt Alan can use?”
“Why's Alan here and why do you need a first aid kit” Oli said running into the kitchen to get a first aid kit.
“Come into the bathroom and see for yourself also grab him a change of clothes please” Oli ran to his room and grabbed him a change of clothes. When we went to the bathroom he was completely zoned out we called his name a few times. Oli looked a bit scared and really concerned probably because of how bad he looks. I went over to him and put a hand on his shoulder he jumped a foot in the air and his eyes went really wide he calmed down when he noticed it was just us.
“S-sorry for co-comin h-here i-in the middle o-of th-the night” before I could get a word out Oli said “Do you see yourself right now don't worry about it, what happened to you?”
“M-my da-dad he s-said i-its all m-my f-f-fault th-that sh-she's d-d-dead i-it's a-all my-my f-fa-fault”
“No it's not don't even go their it is not your fault”
“I-I d-deserved t-this, I-I...” I cut Alan off
“No you don't deserve this fuck, no one deserves this”
“Wait I'm more confused did your dad do this” Oli asked, Alan just nodded.

“Okay lets get you cleaned up now” Alan just nodded. 30 minutes later when Alan was all cleaned up his nose was a little crooked but you couldn't tell unless if you were looking really hard for it, his lip as swollen and his bruise well I can't do anything for that it's going to turn into a nasty yellow, also one of his ribs is definitely broken not much to do about that either. I gave him 2 ibuprofen's then he went to bed curled up on me much like he was earlier today.
